| Re: Joan Rivers - Season 2 I've liked Joan from way back. Yeah, she can appear brash, but the woman paved the way for a whole slew of female comediannes that have come after her. I don't even think her face is THAT bad and she makes jokes about it too. She's worked her butt off her whole life, she's had some great accomplishments, she's a go getter, even in her senior years and she's been through a kind of heartache that few of us can imagine. I don't blame her for being a mama bear with Melissa, but she does Melissa no favors. However, I like Joan even more now than I used too as she has stepped up and done every task that was asked of her. Too bad Clint didn't ask her, they might have actually won that competition if he had.

I guess we had Lucille Ball earlier on but she was an actress - not a stand up. I can't think of any female stand up comics who have been as good or as famous as Joan both prior to and since her career peaked. And now I adore here even more!

| Re: Joan Rivers - Season 2 Did anybody ever see the Nip/Tuck she was on? She wanted to have all her plastic surgery undone and they talked her out of it. The computer image they showed of what she would look like - now that was scary! |

| Re: Joan Rivers - Season 2 I have never been able to stand Ms. Rivers. I was briefly taken aback and thought I might be wrong about her for the first few episodes of this ridiculous show, but nope, I wasn't. She is awful. Her daughter is awful. Together they are awful squared.

When joan said she was going to destroy all of Clint's CDs I laughed... like it hurt Clint. She had already bought them so he already had the profits from the sales...

| Re: Joan Rivers - Season 2 Joan has morphed herself into the 2-headed dragon. I'm not sure which head is worse, her own or her daughter's.

| Re: Joan Rivers - Season 2 Okay I don't mean to be insensitive here at all... but it has been brought up that Joan has suffered a heartache few can imagine... this heartache is most always used to describe Joan. Now admittedly I never have been a Joan Rivers fan so really wasn't interested in her personal life, but was there more to the story than Joan bouncing back after her husbands suicide? She is not the only woman to loose a husband to suicide, nor is she the only celebrity to loose a loved one by suicide. And Yes, it is a terrible thing to go through, but why has it become a way of defining Joan Rivers?

| Re: Joan Rivers - Season 2 I've really like Joan in this show because she has shown herself to be a saavy business woman, but some ugliness showed up last night when it came to Annie. It just seemed like she carried it way too far. I was on her side when it came to Clint, and even thought it was a bit funny, but the Annie thing seemed very excessive. |
