Brian McKnight has defined the true meaning of American soul man since 1991. In addition to a stellar career as a singer/songwriter, McKnight has conquered all mediums including selling over 16 million albums. From his starring role on Broadway in "Chicago" this past winter to his upcoming gig as host of BET's "Soul Sessions," McKnight can also be heard everyday as the host of 94.7 The Wave's morning program "The Brian McKnight Morning Show." McKnight's most recent album, "Ten," can be found in stores now. McKnight will be playing for the charity, Youthville USA.

Sing? We appear to be lucky to even get to hear him TALK so far on this show.

I counted him appearing on screen, I think, a grand total of four times in two shows, and only speaking briefly twice, when spoken to by Trump. He's like the Invisible Man on this show so far.

I was thinking the same thing. This guy has said as much as the plants in the background.

Yeah, that's a good point. I'm not sure what the reason is - maybe it means he sticks around so we'll see more of him later? So far, others seem to be creating more of the drama but those featured seem to head to the boardroom.

He stepped it up by calling out Tom Green. I think he and Jesse James will be the F2 men (I hope anyway).

I am also waiting to see Brian step up to the plate and be PM. Even though he's hugging the wallpaper so far, he may bring the juice later. I recall that Bill in Apprentice #1 was very downplayed and less visible than most of the cast, even though he went on to win.

I find the CA version to be less breathlessly exciting than the first few seasons of civilian Apprentice. These celebs already have gobs of money and don't really need to be invested here. (As we see with Rodman--what a waste of oxygen that guy is. God gifted him with one--and only one talent, basketball. You'd think now that Dennis has retired from the one thing he did well that he'd cultivate something else . . .like basic humanity and work ethic.

I'm predicting Jesse James or Annie Duke to be left standing, but BriKni could surprise us all. He often wears a fed-up expression of a dad 'bout ready to go after his misbehavin' boys with a belt . . .

Not letting him sing love ballads during the dress challenge was a waste, IMO. He should've thought of it. Everybody with a performing talent ought to be doing it whenever they can stick it in. I don't think repartee with street customers is really their bag . . .
