Trump wanted to fire Omarosa but Tito said she was the one he would save! He saw first hand how she ducked the leader position.
Yeah, I think Tito has received too many punches to the head in the ring. He allowed Omagrossa to manipulate him into a situation he didn't want, and if he believed her when she said "I've got your back" after he agreed to PM, he's a lot worse than I thought. She could have stepped in and salvaged Tito's presentation to the Dial/Redbook folks, but other than a couple of comments, she allowed him to fall flat on his face, no doubt realizing they were about to lose and assuring she had plenty of ammo to use against him in the BR.

Overall it was way past time for Tito to leave anyway. His previous win as PM occurred because his teammates made it happen, not him. And DT repeatedly saying how "special" he is--what does that mean?? Special, as in "not terribly bright" special??

Hmm so it looks like if Tito would have had the balls to listen to Omarosa about the photo of Trace they may have won this thing.
I don't think so. The photo of shirtless cowboy Trace with two younger, shirtless cowboys had such a gay vibe, it was totally inappropriate for the Redbook demographic. DT implying that maybe they could have won with it because it was "edgy" was ridiculous -- no way the Dial/RedBook execs would have used that photo.

I thought Carol looked fantastic in the Hydra ad. She was absolutely right in the theme they used appealing to the Redbook demographic. As for the "risque" photo, I didn't think it was a big deal. Carol is laughing which, to me, projects playful more than sexual.

I think Trace determined the outcome of the boardroom. He defended Omagrossa, and said Tito should be fired. If Tito had been able to defend himself verbally as well as he can physically, he might have had a chance, since I think DT wanted a reason to fire O. But he also values Trace's opinion and it was clear Tito couldn't launch an effective defense. As much as I respect the work done at St. Jude 's, I don't think it was fair for Tito, as the losing PM, to receive more for his charity than Carol did for hers.

Re: 2/28 Show Discussion Thread **Spoilers**

Well, I loved the shirtless Trace ad but to be honest, I found that "biting" shot of Carol with the (far too young) male model to be very awkward and forced. I understand that the Dial execs were looking for clean, family-friendly, yada yada yada, but I thought that Empresario's ad was far more visually appealing. It seems like all soap ads and commercials look exactly the same to me, a good-looking woman lathering up in the shower. It certainly doesn't make me want to buy their soap. Now you take Dove's age campaign - edgy and clever and it makes you sit up and notice the product. Far more effective than an over-the-hill model holding a prop baby doll.

There was no good reason to fire O on this task. Did she work hard? I couldn't really tell. But I thought she was right about the ad pictures, and Tito looked like a stuttering nitwit when he spoke after her. It's almost a shame that O and Piers refuse to get along - they'd be an effective team on presentations.

Re: 2/28 Show Discussion Thread **Spoilers**

I thought Carol's photo's were a little "goofy" looking. I thought her facial expressions were not in the least bit natural. The "biting" photo wasn't a believable pose either. His mouth was opened way too much. The lighting and quality of the pics was really nice, but she couldn't convince me that she's Redbook's target reader....too old.

While on the other hand, I thought Empresario's team photos were great, just wasn't a quality presentation of information and photos. I don't know why "O" thought the three shirtless men would sell Dial soap to women. It might sell to the right male market, but women want delicate skin. Anyway that was my take of that shot, even though it was a verrrrrrry niiiiiice shot.. I don't think Redbook or Dial would have gone for it.

The Hydra ad was much more than a woman lathering up in the shower. While the concept could have been better executed with more time (using a real baby instead of a doll, adding a photo of a businesswoman), the core theme of the many facets of a woman's life had direct appeal for Redbook's demographic, which was the goal of the task. Their ad also pointed out the benefits of including yogurt in the Dial product. Since I'm in that demographic (though I don't buy Redbook), I think Hydra demonstrated that they understood the market for their ad very well. Doesn't mean every woman in the demographic would like it, and I have no interest in a soap with yogurt as an ingredient, but I found the ad much more visually pleasing and informative than Empressario's, which had no cohesive theme or details about the product.

Carol is 47, and I suspect a lot of women younger than she is wish they could look that good. She's a very long way from "over the hill."

I think The Donald wanted to make people think he was firing O it wasn't going to happen. O did nothing to make the team lose. Tito was talking like someone with head trauma and not making a lick of sense. Donald is smart he knows that like O OR hate her she keeps people talking about the show. This whole discussion thread is proof of that.

DT is gunning for O and she knows it. When he announced at the beginning of the task that PM's would be vulnerable to being fired, she dropped the offer she'd already made to PM to her team like a hot potato, and foisted it off on Tito. I think he was looking for a reason to fire her in the boardroom, but since both Tito and Trace defended her, and Tito was incapable of defending himself, he was the obvious gonner. From next week's previews, it appears O and Piers are at it again, and I hope that means O gets her sorry, ill-clad, oversized a** kicked to the curb at last!!

Yup, I think, so, too.

This is almost like a cat playing with and torturing a rat before it FINALLY pounces and puts the rodent out of its LONG-overdue misery!
