Heck, she could have modeled and windowdressed a couple of products over the course of 5 yrs. Resume language would be "employed by QVC since (5 yrs ago)". I'm not making excuses for her, but after rethinking it's likely that the situation was as you described.
Even if Carol Alt didnt "go in for 8 hrs" or "studied their sales details" , you would think that she would watch QVC a few times on tv to gain a sense of what the viewers see and how it works. Dont tell me she was employed by QVC for 5 years and never once watched the show and happened across a product that was being offered an EZ pay option! She obviously lied but she's just taking a cue from O on how to save your ass any way you can. And O is still a disgusting excuse for a human being and needs to be off the show and television forever!!!

If she was involved in such an expensive product line, perhaps it didn't occur to her that something that cost a mere $60 was worth splitting up on EZ pay.
It's not unusual at all for the Q to offer EZ pay options on expensive beauty/skincare items, happens all the time. Remember, as the Q rep told Stephen, EZ pay can be offered anywhere from 2 to 5 monthly payments. So a $60 Le Mirador item could have been offered in 2 installments of $30, or 3 installments of $20, etc. The Q often bundles a variety of products from a particular beauty/skincare and sells it as a "kit", offering EZ pay to make it a more attractive purchase. They would have almost certainly done the same thing with the Le Mirador products, since it was their exclusive line.

According to the WWD article, Carol was actively involved in both the development and marketing of Le Mirador. Since one of the common selling strategies used by the Q is EZ pay, and selling both "kits" and individual items of beauty products on EZ pay is common across all lines that they offer, I don't believe Carol didn't know about it.

I get nauseous every time they show Oma-hoe-sa on the screen, I have to put my hands in front of the screen.

Yes, selling a product on live TV may have been a new experience, but he was probably the best qualified of anyone on that team to do the presentation because of his skills as a performer. And as we saw, he was just fine. Although Stephen annoys me with his "man of God" schtick, I do give him credit for having confidence in Trace's ability to deliver.

I agree with both you guys!

Again, love or hate her (and yes, I'd say that MOST people do NOT care for Omarosa), she ain't nobody's fool. She knew she HAD to have her bases covered just in case Empresario lost, and even she'd said earlier that if she went down, she was going to go down swinging.

Also, in terms of rehearsing . . .

Rehearsals or not, Trace IS a seasoned pro at performing in front of people. A LOT of performers admit to having severe cases of stage fright before going on to do a show, rehearsals or not. Carly Smon and Barbara Striesand come to mind. Both of them, if I recall correctly now, didn't tour for YEARS (or do a live show/concert) due to crippling stage fright/nervousness, but when they DID perform live, they rose to the occasion and delivered the goods.

Just as Trace did.

I truly hope being on Empresario doesn't mean we'll be stuck with Omarosa until the shouting's totally over, because it seems to me that unless The Hair pulls another off-the-charts shocker, she might ride the coattails of her teammates all the way to the end.

God, I HOPE not!

Carol Alt lied. There is no way that she didn't know about EZPay. The deer caught in the headlights look she had plastered on her face said it all.

Although I'm glad Trace did a great job, I don't understand why Stephen nixed the rehearsal suggestion.
