Celebrity Apprentice 2/14 Recap- CA Valentine’s Day Special- Piers Loves Omarosa!

Happy Valentine’s Day! To celebrate, tonight’s episode of Celebrity Apprentice starts off with romantic footage of Piers and Omarosa’s feud from last week. While Omarosa is in the Boardroom waiting for her fate, Piers laughs gleefully upstairs, sipping champagne because he is certain that Omarosa is the one going home. Lennox says that they should not gloat over Empresario’s loss, but Piers counters by telling him that Omarosa is a pointless, irrelevant, ghastly little creature. Sadly for Piers (and the rest of us), Omarosa makes it through the Boardroom and is back for another task, even though she is the biggest loser in Apprentice history (according to her, not me, although I agree). To end this little segment, Tito continues Lennox’s fun sexist behavior from last week by stating that he feels sorry for Stephen because he has four women to answer to. Better four women than a boxer and an ultimate fighting champion, I think.

Empresario barely has time to recover from yet another firing when the teams get phone calls summoning them to the Boardroom immediately. When they get there, Trump announces that it’s time to change up the teams. Lennox asks Trump if he really wants to do that, and of course Trump replies that he does because it’s time to shake things up and hopefully make up some teams that will cause more drama and make for better TV. On that note, the new teams are: Empresario: Tito, Trace, Marilu and Stephen, Hydra: Lennox, Carol, Omarosa and… Piers. That’s right- BFFs Omarosa and Piers are now on the same team and will have to work happily together! I’m sure everything will go very smoothly for Hydra on this task.

This week’s task is a simple one. Trump really, really loves Central Park and calls it a special place. The teams are going to run horse and carriage businesses for an afternoon, and the team that makes the most money wins. Currently, vendors get around $34 for these rides, so the teams need to see how much they can get by using their celebrity connections. Or just by being pushy.

Trace steps up as Project Manager for Empresario. He really wants to earn some money for his charity, the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network. His daughter has severe food allergies, so his charity is really close to his heart. Plus, he’s a country boy who likes horses, so this task is right up his alley. The team members meet in Empresario’s HQ, everyone breaks out their little black books, and they line up some nice donations.

Over on Hydra, Piers wants to be PM because he hasn’t made any money for his charity yet and really wants to. The team agrees and he calls for a cease fire with Omarosa so that they can work together and win this task. He tells the team that if they lose, he will take the two people who brought in the least amount of money into the Boardroom with him. Hydra breaks out their little black books and begin lining up some nice donations as well… except for Omarosa, who just doesn’t have the same kinds of connections that the others do.

It’s task day, and Hydra gets in the van to head out to Central Park. Amazingly, the team has kept it together pretty well, and arguing has been minimal. Hmmm… I wonder when that will stop. Oh, right now. Omarosa hands Piers the commitment form that he asked her to write up, and he immediately sees that his name is spelled incorrectly. This really runs him the wrong way, and I can sympathize because my name is constantly spelled wrong. Piers points out the error and goes into a whole huge speech about how it’s bad form to spell your boss’s name wrong. Omarosa tells Piers that he is the PM, not the boss of her. Then the situation really escalates. Omarosa tells Piers that the mother of his children hates him and that his children hate him and think he’s an embarrassment. Piers tells her to leave his kids out of this, and calls her a foul-mouthed little tramp, and she’s off the show. Apparently that means that Piers has fired her, but Omarosa is not really one to be fired, so she kind of ignores that and tells him that she’ll do what she wants. While all this is going on, Carol and Lennox are just sitting quietly and probably wishing they could be somewhere else. Lennox tells us that the fight was terrible, and Omarosa tells Carol that the fight was refreshing for her and it’s all about hitting below the belt.

Things are much less tumultuous on Team Empresario. In fact, things are not tumultuous at all and the task is going very smoothly. They head out to Central Park, no-one brings up anyone else’s children, and they even have time to stop and pick up roses and champagne for their customers. When they get to the park, they see that they are set up right next to Hydra, and this worries them but they’re also kind of interested to see how Omarosa and Piers are getting along.

Piers and Omarosa are not getting along. Piers keeps telling her that she’s fired, but she won’t leave, or shut up. She repeatedly shouts “I ain’t going nowhere, son!” As Piers tries to get her to leave, she tells him to “Back the f*** up” and “If you touch me, you’re going to get punched in the face.” Maybe he should just let her punch him in the face- then she’d go home for sure, right? And it would be pure entertainment for the home audience!

Both teams are selling well, (although one team is selling more peacefully than the other). Stephen brings in Baldwin Bro # 2- Billy, and Marilu takes Billy around to see how much money they can raise for the “most romantic carriage ride of your life” with Billy Baldwin. Marilu is thrilled that Billy is there because he is so handsome and charming, and they end up getting a donation of $2000 for the romantic ride with him. Stephen is happy that his brother showed up because he knows how busy he is, but Billy tells his carriage-mates that Stephen is pimping out all of his siblings. Yeah? Does that mean Daniel will show up next? Somehow, I doubt it.

Piers is doing well with his contacts because many of them have shown up and given some pretty sizable donations. He wants to make sure he has carriages set aside for the high rollers he knows will be showing up, so he tells his team not to sell any more tickets to randoms on the street. Omarosa hears this, but decides not to listen and loudly tries to sell tickets. Then she tells Piers that his kids are so disappointed in him. Lennox thinks that Omarosa has a lot of venom in her and he should probably stay on her good side. He says that the things she said to Piers crossed the line, and were kind of ghetto.

George shows up to visit with Empresario, and Tito tells him that they’ve raised close to $12,000 at that point. George thinks Empresario is doing well pushing sales on the street, and they’re doing a great job in general. Tito’s girlfriend Jenna Jameson shows up and buys a ride for $1,000… but only if she can ride with Tito. On the ride, she talks about how she likes to dominate, and then asks what park they’re in. I guess she doesn’t like to dominate geography.

Ivanka is faced with the task of evaluating Hydra, and immediately Omarosa tattles that she was fired 15 minutes into the task, but won’t leave. She says she’s supporting her team and doing the finances. Piers doesn’t feel that she’s supporting the team and refers to her as a disgusting piece of slime. He wants her off the team, Lennox just wants peace within the team, and Ivanka is disappointed in all of them.

Most of Empresario is doing well with the selling, but Trace is struggling a little bit. He tries to sell to some passersby, and they tell him they are French. He tells them he only knows swear words in French, and unfortunately does not make the sale. Luckily, John Rich shows up and he’s apparently some sort of big country star. He donates a bunch of money, and Trace tells us that he doesn’t think Empresario could have done any better. Oh Trace! Don’t you know saying that is the Apprentice the kiss of death?

On Hydra’s side of the street, Omarosa and Piers are still fighting! Omarosa laughs because not all of the celebrity connections have come through yet, and Piers tries to shut her up by pointing out that she has not contributed at all. She snarls about how another man is raising Piers’ children, and I think she needs to give it a rest already, lest Piers start talking about her divorce and plastic surgery.

Boardroom time! Trump asks Piers if he and Omarosa are getting along, and both scoff. Omarosa tells him that she was fired within the first 15 minutes of the task because of a typo! Piers thinks the team did well… except for Omarosa. When Trump asks Lennox what he thought of the team, Lennox replies that when he fought Mike Tyson, he thought that was a big fight, but it was nothing compared to the fight between Omarosa and Piers. Wow, that’s pretty clever, Lennox. Did one of the writers slip that to you before the Boardroom?

Piers tells Trump that the thing he loves most in this world is his family- his three boys, so when a piece of trash like Omarosa trashes his family, it makes him angry. Omarosa tells the group that she was trashing Piers, not his family, and Piers gives Trump some of her choice quotes about what a bad father he is. Piers doesn’t think anyone on a reality TV show for charity should have to deal with a shrew talking smack about his family, and that he will do anything to protect his kids. Trump agrees that he should, then Piers said he would have punched Omarosa if she was a man. Omarosa thinks that Piers is making this whole thing into a broader issue, and she was going after him, not his kids. Well… why did she talk about his kids then?

Oh my gosh- there’s another team in the room! Sorry, Empresario- I forgot all about you! Trace tells Trump that this was one of the nicest days he’s had on Celebrity Apprentice and he thinks they did really well.

Unfortunately though, they didn’t do well enough. George reveals that Empresario made $29,673. When it’s Ivanka’s turn to reveal how Hydra did, she says that she doesn’t even want to say. That’s because Hydra won with $35,184. Trump says he’s in an amazing predicament because he wants to fire someone from Hydra, but has to fire someone from Empresario. Because they “won,” Piers gets $65,000 for his charity, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The fund supports families of fallen American soldiers, and I’m pleased that even Omarosa is smart enough not to make fun of it. Trump awards the money and then moves Omarosa to Empresario. Hydra leaves the Boardroom, and as they go, Lennox says that this is a hollow victory and he just can’t feel excited about it.

In the final Boardroom, Trace tells Trump that everyone worked hard, and he cannot name the person who did the worst. Marilu says basically the same thing. Then Tito and then Stephen. When Trump asks Marilu who she would fire, she says Omarosa or Piers and everyone laughs and laughs. Trump is not happy with the decision he has to make, and asks them if anyone would like to resign. No one does, so Trump does what every great business genius would do… he doesn’t fire anyone. For the first time in Apprentice history, no one is going home. Wow. They are stuck with Omarosa for the net task though, so it’s not all good for Empresario.

She's not smart, she was scared to say anything in front of Trump, if Trump wasn't there, she'd make fun of it for sure.

Love Piers for his charity to support families of fallen American soldiers. Believe he said his brother was in the military in Iraq and had just returned. Not sure if his brother is in US military or a member of the British forces. Love Piers for his thoughtfulness.
