Re: 2/7 Show Discussion **spoilers**

I agree with you Peach. I think that all the participants are given "script points" for each episode, and then encourged to carry it out as the drama they're looking for. It's the only way to explain some of the crazy schemes they've come up with, conflicts that arise only for people to be best friends 2 minutes later, etc.

Despite all of that, I have to admit I am enjoying this season. And I really hope Trace wins for his charity.... he is the only one who appears to be genuine.... well I like Carol also.

ITA.......very good summation of this very fake show. I agree with everything you say except I don't like Carol Alt LOL

I think that the "celeb" idea did not have the natural drama of 20 somethings hooking up, backstabbing and clawing their way to the top for the sake of their career. While winning for their favorite charity is nice, it is not enough to create much drama and tension. So, like you say, they have all these fake minidramas.

JMO Gene Simmons should have been around.....he probably could have won every challenge just by calling in favors and friends to overspend for the win. So they got rid of him....

They created the drama with Vinny, now with Steven Baldwin....and Omarosa and Piers. Trace really is the best.....Tito is surprisingly cool also.
The show seems totally fake and scripted. Oh, and on a "real" Apprentice show who can leave for something?? Tito left for a gig, Steven left for prior engagement.....that is so off putting in itself.

Trump has completely rigged this show. How many times does Omarosa have to prove she just doesn't have what it takes to be successful in the business world?

ETA:

Nely didn't stand a chance. Trump all but told Omarosa to bring her into the boardroom because he wanted to fire her. No matter what she would have said, it was predetermined that she was gone.
Trump may have wanted her out, but it was Nely herself who ultimately helped make that decision for Trump. Nely could have brought up Omarosa's losing PM record and she could've pointed out to Trump about how Omarosa failed at critical points during the task. Instead, Nely chose to argue with Trump and that was more than enough of an excuse for Trump to give her the cobra.

I only have three things to say: "Trump's an idiot".

I don't disagree that she had valid points to make, and under any other circumstances she may have been able to save herself. However, I think she saw the writing on the wall and rather than fight what was probably a losing battle she decided to call Trump out on his transparent attempt to save Omarosa and bounce Nely. Just a mater of opinion and perception.

I so wanted the women to win this challenge and felt they had it in the bag until I saw the reveals. While I was not wild and crazy about the Cleopatra and MArc Antony theme what I did like is the verbage used as far as describing the theme and that it was used in the vinnette. Show your product and tell us about it. Regardless of how I feel about Piers, Hydra is coming up with really good verbage. Seriously though without Piers I do not think this team would be doing as well.

Does Trace write his own songs?

Or, it was part of the script that she argue with Trump and not point out O's failings. I agree that this whole thing is concocted. Whether they win or lose, they all must be getting some kind of appearance/charity fee anyway, to compensate for their time. I wish I could be compensated for my time, for continually being drawn to it. Hopefully this is the last Apprentice ever and I won't have to worry about that anymore . The show has really turned into nothing but garbage .

Re: 2/7 Show Discussion **spoilers**

So true. There is clearly something going on to allow omarosa to stay on as long as she has. I think they are just building up to the ultimate smackdown between Oma and Piers. Maybe that's why project runway designed those "whorendous" WWE costumes ... Oma and Piers fighting it out cage style. I am still cringing over that black satin bra she had on!

She looks horrible this season. Here is a look back at her, I thought the slutty costumes she was rocking were just new this season but apparently this has been going on for some time. I guess she's stumping for a shot at "what not to wear" next. Style Fix » Blog Archive » Oh, Omarosa.
