| Re: 1/10 Show Discussion **spoilers** Tonight's episode was a prime example of doing everything right, by the book and still loosing. Poor ladies. It was also very obvious that Nadia was getting the loser's edit from the beginning. You didn't even know she was there ep 1 and all of a sudden we see a lot of her in this episode. She just does not have the personality to lead a team. But this is the very first time I have ever seen Dumptruck, gush and be genuinely nice to someone as he fired Nadia. Still while Hydra won, the way Gene Simmons and Stephen Baldwin worked as director and project manager will cause problems later on. You cannot dismiss the entire team they way they did on every task. They got away with it for this specific task, but you can not be as abrasive as Gene Simmons and be successfull all the time. Still he uses his celebrity to be rude. Wonder when it will bite him.

They also should have met with the client. I hope that they don't do it this way again reasoning that not meeting with the client worked once.

| Re: 1/10 Show Discussion **spoilers** Directing and editing are not team sports. However, normally the group would have been brought to view and offer their criticisms after the rough cut was complete. Obviously there was no time for that luxury. Stephen has shown some ability to be diplomatic so far so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and assuming they edited him to be rude for dramatic value. Not that they needed any. Simmons was enough of an ass for all of them. |

| Re: 1/10 Show Discussion **spoilers** I had to agree with Omarosa about the Womans team morning stretch. I used to work for a company in a management position and our Boss did this same silliness in the morning. If your team is worth their salt they don't need all that nonsense to get them reared up. I was always ready to roll every morning to deal with my assigned Projects. |

| Re: 1/10 Show Discussion **spoilers** I figured out my dilemma. I despise O - she is a cheat and a fraud, an overall nasty person, and a legend in her own mind. I rather admire Simmons - he appears to have great business savvy, a lot to show for it, and fortunately for entertainment purposes, also has very little in the way of interpersonal skills (although perhaps that is an act?). So, I'm ok that Simmons is an utter pig, LOL. Go, Gene, Go!! As far as O the turnip, I hope she lasts long enough to be REALLY humiliated on her way out. |

the one thing i really love about "family jewels" is how his family always makes fun of gene's gigantic ego. his behavior on this show is no surprise to me and part of the reason i watch it. you can say what you want to about gene, but he has been been bringing in the wins so far. | |

| Re: 1/10 Show Discussion **spoilers** Is it just me, or are the teams totally mismatched in terms of level of fame? It seems like the women's team is filled with celebrities whose peaks were decades ago (Marilu, Carol, Nadia), or just aren't that recognizable (Nely, Blonde Woman, Playboy Playmate). Contrast that to the men's team where their peaks were maybe a couple of years ago, or they're perennial stars like Simmons, or they might even appear on TV quite currently outside of Celebrity Apprentice. I realize that fame isn't everything in the challenges, but lots of them are about marketing, and it seems that the women are at a big disadvantage since they don't have as much convenient star wattage. I would mix up the teams completely. I wonder if they had trouble finding more famous women. Maybe it's just that the ones who might be good businesswomen had the good sense not to join the cast. |

| Re: 1/10 Show Discussion **spoilers** I thought the same thing about the fame situation. I also feel like he's firing the least famous and keeping the others for show.
