The show starts off with the Top 4 singing a medley of Anka songs: Puppy Love, & Diana.
Paul Anka comes out and sings Put Your Head On My Shoulder and taking a cue from JayDee dances with a young girl from the audience.
The Anka comes back on after the commercials and sings My Way.
The Anka has a new CD out of standards and he's touring beginning in Western Canada and finishing up at Massey Hall in Toronto on December 4, 2007.
That must be the reason he consented to be on CI5, to plug his CD and the tour.
Now a lame Idols in the Mansion segment where they're eating salad with different Kraft Salad Dressings being featured. JayDee loves Ranch dressing (what a shock! :rofl ).
They also said they all feel they all stepped up this week (this was obviously taped late last week).
Ben asked each judge for a comment to one Idol:
Sass to Carly Rae - you're a lovely human being and you've touched many people's lives this summer
Jake to JayDee - you can be a huge international star with a few years development
Zack to Brian - you're walking the walk and talking the talk and your humble manner will carry you on your way
Farley to Dwight - take what you've got and go forward and multiply

OMG Idol Canadien...that barbie has a horrible sound even when she talks...she sounds like that girl on the animation "King Of The Hill"
Opening song started out like a pretty bad suckfest. the boys didn't sound too bad singing together.

Here we go with the results:
There is no bottom 2 tonight.
Dwight is going home as he had the fewest votes last night.
No mention of how many votes were cast. The male judges all gave Dwight a standing ovation, Sass remained seated.
Next week is Your Choice week. If you voted for the songs at the IdolCTV site then you know what they may be singing. Next Tuesday is Kalan Porter night on to plug his new CD.
Poor Dwight has to go out singing the horrible I Get A Kick Out Of You. He went out with a lot of class and maturity though and seemed satisfied that he lasted as long as he did on the show.

He is singing as badly tonight as he did last night.
He did sound O.K. in the "journey" tape.
