Maroon 5 are singing some new song. I don't care for it at all, but then I'm not a big fan of the group to start with. They have a new album coming out shortly. They'll be at the ACC on October 4/07. Then they sing song #2.

While I didn't think Tara was great last night she was certainly miles ahead of JayDee who should be departing the stage.

Tara is handling her departure with grace and maturity though.

Next week Kelly Clarkson will be the special guest mentor and will sing next Tuesday night.

That's good to hear and it doesn't surprise me. I've always had the impression that we never saw the real Tara anyway. It always seemed to me that she was doing what she thought she should do, not what she felt.

Well, I was so p.o.'d when they announced an American Idol was coming on our show to mentor our Canadian Idols, instead of honouring Canadians who have done well, that I said I wasn't going to watch. And with this remaining Top 5, it's not going to be much of a sacrifice!

Totally agree with your comments! Carly Rae should have gotten the boot or replace Dwight or Tara with JayDee and kick him off!
