Ashley should have gone a while ago, maybe not even made the top 10 IMO. There were other performers who should have had her spot and Kati's spot.. Alisha, Nancy, the younger Ashley, to name a few. Not disappointed as her and Tyler were my least favourites left although Tyler did do well on his song the other night.

I said from the start this season is lackluster and no one agreed with me. At least people are starting to see it now! Eva and Steffi are the only saving graces.

General concensus on most boards is that Eva's a lock for F2 along with maybe Tyler and possibly Craig if the eastcoasters vote the way they're known to do.

Whether Eva wins CI or not, I think she's bound to have success in the future. She can release cd's in three languages and her beauty won't hurt her in any language!

Wow. We sure have different tastes in music. Alisha had a very strong voice but wasn't around long enough to see if she had much nuance to go along with it. I wouldn't have minded seeing her stay, but Nancy and younger Ashley? No. Just no. And I wish Steffi would take her act to Disney World.

Sorry, still not agreeing with you. Most people on the half dozen or so boards I check, and most "critics" aren't either. Not as good as season 2, but a definite improvement over last year.

Good for you. I'm glad you are enjoying this season and think that most people are as well. I personally do not enjoy anyone this year as much as I enjoyed Suzi Rawn last year, and it's perfectly fine if you don't feel the same way. I am different than your "most people and critics" so that makes no difference to me.

As far as Ashley Coulter is concerned, I've heard her voice time and time again. She was even compared to Suzi Rawn by the judges. This season would have been a lot better if Tyler, Ashley, and Kati weren't in the top 10 and there were some interesting voices in there. An Alisha type has never been on CI before, Nancy was probably the quirkiest CI has ever seen, and I loved the younger Ashley's raspy voice and lack of pretention. Ashley Coulter screams pretentious to me.

Also, again, in regards to the critics, what they like makes no difference to me. I make up my own mind on what I like, thanks.

Isn't this funny, or at least I find it kind of funny, that you, a self professed Suzi fan, would find Ashley and her rockerisms pretentious. I found Ashley's rocker vibes much more authentic than Suzi's stomping and glowering. But different tastes and all that.

I find Tyler enjoyable. Not the greatest singer, to be sure, but he seems to emanate such joy being up there doing what he's doing that I find myself enjoying just watching him. If only he'd stop that bouncing up and down! Alisha reminded me of Toya Alexis in that they both had big big voices and loved the diva notes. Nancy was definitely quirky, but I guess just not my kind of quirky. Younger Ashley definitely has a good voice, but she was just too young and just didn't have the experience to control it. I'm sure she'll be very good in years to come if she works at it. Who was that hippie girl that was madly in love with some guy she met at auditions? Alissa or something? Now, to me, there was someone who didn't deserve to last as long as she did.

Totally with you on this. I actually find I usually like the opposite of what a lot of these critics think is so hip and cool.

And Chad,... and how he remains while Ashley Coulter is voted off is beyond me. It's getting harder and harder to watch this every week.

I'm drifting over to BB7 and SN instead.

Eva Avila is almost certainly going to be in the final two. As for who joins her right now Tyler Lewis has the best chance.
