Craig Sharpe has the task of following Eva's excellent performance. He's singing Cold As Ice by Foreigner. I'm not one of Craig's fans either but I enjoyed his performance tonight too. Zak - star power is so much about being unique, dude you're so unique it's a cool thing Jake - that was not believable to me I didn't buy it Sass - I loved that performance, a soulful interpretation I really appreciated Farley - the vocal performance was off the chain.

So far tonight it's been an enjoyable show. No train wrecks yet. I think we can thank Cyndi Lauper and the 2 guys, DeYoung and Hodgson for helping these kids get it right (or somewhat right anyway).

Ashley Coulter is up next. She's singing Knockin' On Heaven's Door by Bob Dylan. This song is one I've always found to be boring. While she sings the song fine, the song and the performance were ultimately boring to me. Something you don't really want on Classic rock night. Jake - a really great rock performance. Your instincts were right for doing that. I have no worries about you post-Idol, you'll have a career. Sass - cool really cool Farley - when you hit the hook in that song you won me over Zak - you change your hair more than I change clothes, it was cool, if you're going to win you gotta show them you're unique.

Oh look Brandon Jones is sitting in the audience tonight. Chad Doucette sings next. He's chosen Bad Side Of The Moon by April Wine (Yay a Canadian Group). He was told by DeYoung to stop running around the stage and to concentrate on the song and the lyrics. It was typical Chad, not great but not horrible. It was fine - but it wasn't all that. Sass - oh my god, your voice is undeniable, that's it Farley - you have one of the most distinctive voices in this room Zak - I thought the first half was really cool and then you tired to turn the corner and really kick it and you lost it Jake - here is without a doubt the most unique singer in the competition without a doubt.
