7/04 Show Discussion Thread *SPOILERS*

does anyone see a dark horse yet? i'm thinking it may be Ashley Coles (still hoping for what i saw in the audition rounds) maybe nerves got to her?

I think Steffi really redeemed herself tonight as did Ms Coles from last week. Both could be Top 10 material if they keep up their game. I really loved Steffi tonight while last week she was very meh in my opinion.

Hi, I thought I would chime in for the first time this year.

My opinion is that the girls are much better than the guys this year. The guys are pretty annoying actually.

As for tonight, well I will go on record right now as saying that I think Alisha Nauth will be the winner of the whole contest. She already has the pro sound and look.

The other ones who should make the top 5:

Eva Avila (very hot - is she related to Amanda Avila from American Idol?)
Steffi D (my favorite - I just love her. She is this year's Theresa Sokyrka)
Nancy Silverman (very interesting)
Kati Durst (or is it Kirsten Dunst? There is something very appealing about her.)

The worst by far tonight was Klazek, I am sure all will agree.
The others were flawed and forgettable.

Not alone on the point of over singing but she really can sing and I am sure if she picks the right song and does not over sing it, she will be great.

Why do they do that anyway???...Is it so we get to hear the voice for every second that they are on the stage???

you're right...there were moments in her song that I enjoyed, she has a clear, crisp voice (if that makes sense) but she needs to tone it down some

I agree the girls had it all over the guys this week. Did you see last week's shows? The guys were so far ahead of the girls in almost every respect. It's almost like the producers told the guys to screw up this week and make the girls look really good. Giving the girls credit though a lot of them really took the criticisms they got and stepped up their game over last week.

I don't know what's going to happen and then there's the "Special Announcement" that's supposed to be made tomorrow night, whatever that is.

I also agree Klazek will be one of the 2 to go home, she should have left last week over Valerie Jalbert.

I didn't get to watch the show till quite late, so I didn't vote this week, but what a difference a week makes. Once again I think song choice is really key. Steffi D. was my favourite by far tonight. I still liked Eva & Alisha but not as much as last week - same with Nancy. Katie Durst was much better this week though I noticed the closed eyes even before Zack mentioned it. I thought she was just really feeling the song internally.(if that makes any sense)
