Eva, a former winner of the province-wide singing competition "Jeune Diva du Quebec," first sang in public at the age of three. She says she would love to follow in the footsteps of Nelly Furtado. "I admire that girl so much, because she's amazingly simple, talented and beautiful," she says. She would love to meet Michael Jackson as she feels that he has revolutionized the music industry.

Eva has become friends with Canadian Idol Top 22 competitor Anna-Belle Oliva. "We have a similar sense of humour so we had lots of good laughs together," she says. Eva feels that each Canadian Idol competitor in the Top 22 is unique and very different and she thinks that's awesome.

Eva, who speaks English, French and Spanish, is proud of her Quebec/Peruvian roots (her mother is French-Canadian while her father is Peruvian). In addition to loving saltado de pollo (a Peruvian dish), Eva loves sushi, anything Thai and her mom's Shepherd's Pie.

Her favourite movie is Ghost and her favourite articles of clothing are her Bob Marley and American Eagle sweatshirts. Eva also loves to support her hometown hockey team Les Olympiques de Hull.

Eva believes that Canadians are the best singers in the world. "They stay true to who they are and they don't imitate any other artist," she says. "They sing from the heart. They're authentic."

I think Eva is beautiful, but I don't think she is the best singer or the most memorable. She will have to bring it up a notch in order to remain over the next few weeks. But she should be safe tomorrow night.

I think Eva has a great voice. That very high note she hit last week was killer! And it goes without saying that she's absolutely gorgeous too. I think she's got a good chance of winning, but regardless, I think her future is bright. Go Eva!!

She's really doing good. Great singer consisitently....I'm against my favs winning because they'll end up like Kalen Porter....who? So second place for her please!! I've seen that Katheren McWhatevers CD out but heard nothing about that weirdo who won....but maybe I live under a rock
