    Favourite Canadian Idol Performances

While we wait for the season to begin, what are some of your favourite moments from seasons past.

Jacob is one of my favourites of either AI or CI.
    Loved Space Oddity.
Loved Straighten Up & Fly Right.
Loved I Want You To Want Me on the results show when he sang to the judges. I loved just about everything.

I also really liked Kalan's voice and liked Paint It Black and House of the Rising Son a lot.

Theresa's On A Winter's Night and Ready For Love.

Among the group performances, I thought Jacob & Shane's 'I Abbotsford' sign was great and Jacob is such a natural for Under Pressure.

From season one, the absolute highlight for me was Billy's Levon.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

Jacob is my favourite CI contestant ever.
I think I pretty much loved all his performances.

I also really liked when the top 6 (I think it was) played musical instruments on the results show.
They were an incredibly talented bunch and it was a worldwide Idol first.

Canada should be very proud of their talent which was so beautifully showcased last season.

I just thought of anther performance that I really liked, when Ben, Jon and a bunch of contestants sang "Choose Me", the song that contestant wrote for the show.

On this journey of a lifetime, decisions made...

I have to agree about the majority of Jacob's performances. Him, Kalan and Theresa were just a great top three.

I can't remember if I liked it at the time, but I'll always remember Shane singing "I Believe In A Thing Called Love."

Theresa's "Good Mother" was very touching.

Oh I forgot about that, how could I?
That's the number one song that guarantees tears from me.
    She sang it beautifully.

I loved the top 3 singing "In Your Eyes'.
Their voices were all so individual yet blended beautifully.

Top 6 group performance of "Canadian Railroad Trilogy" is my favourite particularly since the contestants played instruments. What a great tribute to Gordon Lightfoot. Loved it.

Oh, I completely agree, Fluff. I'd say that was a groundbreaking performance!
