100 miles is NOT that far to hike over several months. Although I suppose the heavy packs are a bit annoying and make that feel like 500 miles.

So we're allowed to say those words? I just dont feel comfortable doing it. I mean I use it in my everyday language, but I feel as if I'd be banned if I do that.
