wow... i couldn't stand it. i just had to chime in. these are either third person stories (or further degrees... a friend of a friend of another friend and another friend when does this lunacy end - oh yeah it ends when it gets to the 6th degree) or tabloid reports that have no factual basis. why all the smack about fatalism about their relationship? i've read both interviews on advocate.com and gay.com, which are enough of a validation for me. both james and wes are astute individuals, and i think they've answered these sort of questions with as much truth allowed. the views are just so negative. it's like the relationship HAD ended before something could REALLY happen.

i dunno maybe they're testing each other. who knows? only they do! it's already a controversial show. the cast recently are trying to return to their lives' routines after a caged situation. allow these boys to breathe. give them space and let time speak for itself.

ps. thanks - i'm gonna go down now to unwind and sip some peach goosetinies and cruise. oy vey! it's so nice out. live and let live...

Well, you're right, we don't really know what's really going on but James and Wes are public figures now....especially in the gay community. The gossip, whether real or fabricated, is impossible to avoid.

James came off well in the Gay.com interview. My only regret is that James is still angry at the straight guys, more than Bravo. I was clearly not part of the show in the way James was, but in life there are really times when you need to move on. I am not crazy about Franklin either, but this a reality show or God sakes not real life.

I have been in New Zealand in February in both the northern and southern islands. The southern island, which includes Christchurch and all the wonderful national parks and wildlife, is cooler than the northern island (Aukland and Wellington). March is fall in NZ. It appears that a travel agency is paying for the trip and not sending James and Wes during the summer months of Dec., Jan., Feb.

I dunno, I can empathize with James on this one. He's saying that reality shows aren't above pulling stunts like this, but he couldn't believe that there were any straight men who would actually agree to do such a thing.

I'm not saying I feel this way or that anyone else should, I'm just saying I can understand why it's harder for him to shake it off having been the one who endured it.

It's interesting to read Wes's note that he posted in his forum. He seems to take nothing but positive things from the show. He says he'd do it again. James has mentioned in interviews that he would not do it again and I think we all agree that James was a different person once he found out about the twist. He went from being this nervous, warm, smiling guy to this much more direct, inquisitive, almost hardened guy.

More than that, if I remember his post correctly, he seemed to think the twist quite natural (even suspecting at one point that the final twist would be James being straight and Andra being his girlfriend). Definitely a guy that seemed to keep a sense of perspective (and humor) at all times.
