    Re: Kindle

I have a nook app and I have a setting that doesn't require a swipe to turn the page, just a tap. You might have that option too. It's still not as easy as the physical button but IMO it's better than the swipe.

Mine doesn't need a swipe either; it's literally just a light tap on the edge of the screen. Sometimes I think it turns the page when I haven't even touched it. It's like all it needs is a little heat from my finger. I had an old Kindle that had the buttons to turn pages and I really prefer touching the screen. Maybe that's partly because I started out with the Kindle app on my phone before I actually got a Kindle.

I've got a Kindle app but I have not used it yet so far. I think, for people purchasing an e-reader for the first time, Kindle is a good value.

Has anyone picked their Kindle First free book for May? I'm having a hard time choosing! There are at least 3 that look really good!

I'm trying to decide between Lioness of Morocco and Dead Certain
Because I like to read as an escape, I usually avoid selections that are very deep, heartwrenching, or deal with "everyday matters", which is why none of the others were appealing to me.

Dead Certain is one of the titles that looked interesting. The others are The Great Passage, North Haven and even The First Word....so, basically, MOST of them!

I grabbed Dead Certain based on all the great reviews, but I haven't read it yet.
