Wow. I checked and I got a credit of $29.20.

Check it out anyway, Critical. Most of my purchases have been from the cheap book offerings unless it is a series or author I really want to read.

I think you misunderstood me Ariel. I've spent a TOTAL of $.99. I only ever paid for one book and that was how much it cost. Everything else on my Kindle is either free classics from Amazon or galleys from publishers.

I got $25 and change. My favorite author (Rosamunde Pilcher) is finally on Kindle.

Sorry, Critical. Yeah, you probably got $0.00 then.

My daughter's computer died and she works crazy hours when she can't answer her phone. I got tired of not being able to contact her (I don't have texting) so I got her a Kindle Fire. She's thrilled!

I got $36.78. I was quite surprised when I got the email.

I guess Kindle & Nook were both affected by this settlement. I have a Nook & got an e-mail too. I had figured I'd get nothing because I almost always just get the Free Friday Nook Book.
Apparently I was wrong. I got $2.19. Not exactly a small fortune, but the way I figure, it's $2.19 more than $.00.
