to the FORT tasja! Great first post and thread! I love reading.

I'm reading "Emma" by Jane Austen right now cuz my book group is reading it. I'm a huge Austen fan though.

Some good books I've read recently are The Red Tent by Anita Diamant and Girl With a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chavalier.

    Welcome, tasja!

I recently read The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon. It was extraordinary.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

I'm in the middle of Diamonds Are Forever by Ian Fleming. I must say, it's very good so far. But, it hasn't mentioned Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd...or not yet at least

I'm reading "We Were the Mulvaneys" right now. It's alright.

They last good one I read was "The Jester" by James Patterson, and another good one I finished before that was Stephen King's "From A Buick 8". I love anything by King.

I'm in the middle of The Murder Book by Jonathan Kellerman. I'll take a good murder mystery any day.

I didn't like "We Were the Mulvaney's" at all. How far into the book are you?

I finished The Club Dumas by Arturo Pérez-Reverte last week. I couldn't set it down, it was really great. I had it in my hand at every possible moment for 3 straight days, and the last 30 pages blew my mind.
