New year, new books to look forward to. This year looks particularly promising in the literary department, but then again, I tend to say that every year.In any case, here's a little list of the book releases I'm looking forward to in 2008. Feel free to add books at any time.
22 January: Duma Key by Stephen King
1 April - aka THE date to look forward to, at least in my world: The Sorrows of an American by geek the girl fave Siri Hustvedt, a new short story collection entitled Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri, and literary biopic/homage Wild Nights!: Stories About the Last Days of Poe, Dickinson, Twain, James, and Hemingway by the inexhaustible Joyce Carol Oates are all published on the same day.Hmm, I wonder which one I'll read first?
8 April: Jennifer Weiner's Certain Girls, a sequel to Good in Bed.
17 June: This Charming Man (ooh, Smiths alert!) by Marian Keyes
The fourth Bella and Edward novel, Breaking Dawn, is coming out in August, but I'm sure you all already knew that.![]()
