Re: Bella and Edward series by Stephenie Meyer

I recently came across this picture of Robert Pattinson and thought wow- now I do see him as my Edward. What do you think? Taken from the Tokyo premiere of HP Goblet of Fire:

He's not at all how I pictured Edward, but he still works. But I'm not going to look at that picture to long, so I can keep my own image of Edward.

Until the movie comes out, I don't think you will be able to close your eyes and hum through the entire movie!

He may grow on you, he did for me.

Re: Bella and Edward series by Stephenie Meyer

I just finished all three of the Twilight series (with my 13 year old daughter) and am absolutely enchanted. I wish I'd had the chance to get to know the author when she was a member here at the FORT.

She still links us on her site and says we are the best internet place to go for Amazing Race, Survivor, etc . I will see if I can still find the url - oh yeah, I just remembered it is part of her unofficial Bio. Here ya go:

Re: Bella and Edward series by Stephenie Meyer

I just had to add this link from Stephenie's site with the Twilight outtakes - the parts of her manuscripts that were deleted. Some of these are very funny but all are endearing. I am especially glad to have read Emmett story about his becoming a vampire and you can also find something similar on the New Moon page. Hope you enjoy if you haven't already found these:

StephenieMeyer.com | Twilight Series | Twilight | Outtakes
StephenieMeyer.com | Twilight Series | New Moon | Outtakes

and of course her Extras which were written after New Moon to fill in some of the Q's from fans (like the conversation between Edward and Rosalie on Bella jumping off the cliff):
StephenieMeyer.com | Twilight Series | New Moon | Extras

Re: Bella and Edward series by Stephenie Meyer

I think Robert Patterson will be ok as Edward. He isn't my first choice but he has matured since HP and if they mess his hair a bit and lose the preppy super clean cut look from HP I think he will do fine.
I can't wait for this movie! And the new book!
