Not me, I quit reading her awhile ago. Too much angst, not enough crime solving. Which was very disappointing as her first books were SO good.

Re: Your latest book purchases

I bought "Sepulchre" by Kate Mosse today. The back blurb had me at hello since it's supposedly a combination of history, a ghost story and a murder mystery. I haven't read more than a few pages but I'm feeling a bit undewhelmed. I'm hoping it's mostly the fact that just at the moment I paid, Swedish athlete Carolina Klüft fumbled her third try and finished a disappointing 8th place at the Olympic long jump competition (the sales girl was watching the games on TV). Rationally I know it has nothing to do with the book so I'm hoping once I get going, I'll be as hooked as I hoped I would be when I first took it in my hands. My mood is too easily influenced .

Re: Your latest book purchases

I'm really excited about my recent book purchase, because it is my friend's first published novel: Fresh Kills by Bill Loehfelm. I'm looking forward to some reading this weekend. Yay, Bill!

Amazon.com: Fresh Kills: Bill Loehfelm: Books

Re: Your latest book purchases

I almost always get my books from Borders or Half Price Books....The last book I purchaced was Breaking Dawn by Step. Meyer. Normally I get my books from the library though....it saves money and gas because its in walking distance.

Re: Your latest book purchases

I bought The Little Lady Agency to read on a plane this summer and then my mom and sisters read it and all loved it. So when I got a gift cert. to amazon last week I got the next two in the series and will pass them on to the family again. Fun to all read the same books.

Re: Your latest book purchases

I just bought a book about tornados & hurricanes at a yard sale. It looks pretty good.

The book I really want to buy is The Book of Animal Ignorance by John Lloyd and John Mitchinson.

Re: Your latest book purchases

I just bought Easy Innocence and The Last Days of Il Duce. Both are mysteries. I'm looking forward to Easy Innocence the most I think. Mentally deficient sex offender is found standing over the body of a high school student at an exclusive girls school, bloody bat in hand. Waaaay too simple, of course....Unfortunately, most all I'm reading right now is insurance text for a test in November
