Same here, Snowy. With the exception of Liam, the rest of the list reads like an old school list of the skeeziest men in Hollywood. I realize some of them were huge sex symbols, but c'mon. Who HASN'T been linked romantically to Warren Beatty or Steve McQueen? Most of those men went around the block enough times to wear a hole in the pavement.

I wonder why this book is being published now? It's not like she needs the money or anything? I wouldn't buy it. But I might leaf through it in a bookstore. Let us know if there's anything revealing, famita.

Isn't she rich enough? I mean.. does she REALLY NEED to put in print the list of men she has screwed?

I honestly, with all due respect to those of you who do (jewels, famita, et al) like books like this, I don't understand the excitement or thrill in reading Hollywood's sordid sexual affairs. Or anyone's for that matter.

Last thing I am willing to do....is write a book about all of my sexual adventures. Even if I'm poor and it would sell a million & get me out of debt. I guess it's called manners, or couth. In my opinion only. Obviously. I guess Barbara is proud of her endeavors and feels it's "time" to let everyone know.

One more question.. how does James Brolin feel about this? What an ODD and queasy feeling I'd have if I were him.
"Wow honey! You really did screw a lot of men before I bagged ya! Congratulations babe, you're a knockout!"

Hey, I have some manners and couth. I won't read it unless there's a rannking/scoring system.

No no silly.. To READ it, is Ok.. I don't understand why..but, hey..to each their own. Barbara, IMO, has no manners or couth to want to write it for everyone to read. Or, simply admitting that you were screwed that much, by so many different men is uncouth. Lil whorey, I think.

A fictional smut book, or porno is different.

I can't believe I'm actually defending Barbra Streisand but she didn't actually write the book did she? The author is this Anderson guy, and I don't even know that it's an authorized bio (which I highly doubt). I don't really care to investigate any further, though, because thinking any more about Streisand's love life is likely to make me toss me pistachios.

Hey, I am curious...if you read it, Jewels, you have to tell me (and Star) where Liam falls!

I'm sure Barbra is not exacty thrilled about this book being published. I don't think it's authorized, Snowy. This Anderson guy is just another bottom feeder trying to make money writing about someone else's private business. True or not, I still think it's kind of scummy.....and yeah, the idea of Babs and sex makes me queasy.

That being said, if anyone reads it, please give details about Liam. From her to Julia Roberts - that man's got some freaky taste. Still - love him

Ok, it was a good read. It was, to me, a story of her life. There was not juicy detail or step-by-step. It basically told how she was a micromanager in her life, how she was mentally abused by her mother and step-father, how she wouldn't get surgery on her nose because it might hurt her voice. Mostly, it seemed to be a hatchet job telling how she was bitchy to others. I grew up listening to her albums. I love her voice. She's one singer my whole family agreed that we all liked. And the way it was presented, I didn't read proof that she was schlepping every guy mentioned, just that she spent time with them. It was an "ok" read. I enjoyed Mohammad Ali's book with his daughter much better!
