Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on July 16

    It's just been announced:

The sixth book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, will be published on July 16, 2005.

The book... picks up the story of Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as his evil enemy Lord Voldemort's "power and followers are increasing day by day," Rowling's publishers Bloomsbury and Scholastic said.

I can't wait for this either! My little boy is going to be so excited. He has read the other books so many times they are worn out!

I just went to JK Rowling's web site and the door is open again. I got in and answered some riddles to light some Christmas tree candles and the star. Is that it? I couldn't find anything else to click.

For a 29-year-old woman, I am absurdly excited about this.

    This is excellent news!
I still have a bit of time to re-read all the other books before #6 comes out.

I know Lucy, I am 33 and I look forward to just as much as my son does, probably more if the truth is known.

Silverstar, I am going to re-read the last 2 books as well. I need a refresher course.

Veejer - want is the link to her website? I want to go and check it out.
