Stephanie Plum series

What does everybody think of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series?

I've read the seventh and ninth of the series, and I'm on the eighth currently. I'm still not sure if I'm ever going to love the series, but I guess I like it enough to keep reading.

What's the book's subject? I'm finicky when it comes down to what book is categorized under what.

I'd say it's an adventure, mystery, and comedy all in one. Stephanie Plum is a bounty hunter/bond enforcer. She has to capture the bad guys, but she's not very good at it.

I love this series. I pretty much read the books in order though, so, as I remember it, there was a bit more character/plot development in the early books. The later ones are more slapstick (In a good way, really)

And she's got two hot love interests with Joe Morelli and Ranger. I love my fictional boyfriends!

I always look forward to the next book in this series. It's very light reading. And even though Stephanie is from New Jersey and I'm from Texas we share the big hair thing ( Although I had to give mine up a few years ago )

Love this series! Can't wait for the next one to come out either.

And I've met Janet Evanonvich and can say she's as funny in real life as her writing is.

I've never met her but she's bound to have a sense of humor. Her Stephanie Plum series is hilarious.
