I loved this book for everything in it. I loved the multiple perspectives and stories. I think the characters were very easy to fall in love with. I'll get into more details later!

I read this last summer. It was a wonderful book. Kingslover spun a beautiful tale. And because I tend to be a fast reader, I especially appreciated it's length.
I never could get into this book, but I loved her other books. Pigs in Heaven and Animal Dreams...I can't remember the other one. She is a great author.
I loved this book. I have a cousin who is a missionary in Africa. When I read it she had just left the states to begin her mission. When she got back I asked her about snakes and ants and the troubles they lived through. It was surprising how similar it was for her.
I've always wondered if the story she tells about the ants was something that really happens over there. I read the book a couple of years ago, and that part really sticks out in my mind.
Hey, I remembered..the other book was the Bean Trees. Bean Trees and Pigs in Heaven were a series and Animal Dreams was a story. They are great. Maybe I ought to try Poisonwood bible again.Quote:
