I read it about two years ago. Thought it was very well-written.Originally Posted by likeafox

I agree, of course. Wasn't the ending just perfect?
I kinda hope they don't make it into a movie. I like to keep books in my head. I don't really want someone else's vision when it comes to a book I've already read and love.
I read this last year. It was very good, I thought. Sad at times, but I really enjoyed it. I was very impressed with Steve's writing.
Who shot who in the what now?
I just read this when I heard about the movie that's coming out. I thought it was pretty good. Anyone else read it recently?
"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
Benjamin Franklin.
I read it a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. It had a sort of melancholy tone, but very sweet. I read that Claire Danes will play the girl in the movie. I seem to remember Kevin Spacey as the male lead but I could be wrong on that one.

I read Shopgirl when it came out, and liked it. It was a little slim, but pleasant. I saw a trailer for it the other night, and Claire Danes is the shopgirl, and Steve Martin is the (older) male lead. Can't remember name of other male lead.
I read this book and enjoyed it as well. The younger male lead in it I believe is Jimmy Falon.
No, definetly not Jimmy Fallon. Apparently he dropped out. It's Jason Schwartzman now.
