Another linguistic pet peeve.... people who say "it's a doggie-dog world." It is NOT! It is, if anything, a "dog-eat-dog" world! Irksome.

I've never heard anyone say this, but that's hilarious.

My 3 year old makes up stuff like this when she doesn't understand an idiom, but that's pretty bad coming from a grownup. So today she was singing London Bridge but instead of "my fair lady" she sang "my favorite baby." Works for me.
