I seriously squirmed and tensed up during that torture scene. I mean, that'd really hurt! I'm hoping to eventually read the entire series. I might even get some for Xmas...I hope! :santasmil

I don't think I've sat in a wicker chair since reading that book, Mike.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

Is that the one that has the little...eh...swimmers in top hats and bow ties right inside the cover. If it is the same book the cartoon character adults had hair that did not quite cover so you could see their nether regions. That is the book my mom and dad gave us when we were young. I am sure John(my brother) showed it to you....though he REFUSED to look at it! Hehe!

i just finished reading "a child called it" by dave pelzer. a couple of days ago i started reading "a man called dave", his continuation to the first. the saddest stories ever. unbelievable abuse. but it's inspiring to see how successful and happy he has become as an adult triumphing over tragedy.

I'm reading "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay" that Paulie gave me for my birthday. Outstanding read - I can't put it down - well, unless there's a hockey game on.

However, I'm enjoying envisioning the hissy fit, so please don't stop on my account, FG.
