Weaveworld is a great book. Clive Barker is very hit or miss with me, but I think Weaveworld is my favorite of all his books.

I read Life of PI earlier this month. That was an interesting book. The ending disturbed me quite a bit, but i have had more great conversations with people about that book than any other book in a long time.

if youre into mythology or just wierd little short stories, id suggest Ovid's Metamorphoses. i read it for this classics course im taking and so far its been my favorite. everyone turns into some kind of creature or tree or flower but its all the classic stories like midas and the golden touch and echo and narcissus.

im currently reading "Filth" by Irvine Welch, the guy who wrote trainspotting and porno. and "Diary" by Palahniuk. cuz basically, i read everything Palahniuk writes. im obsessed. the guy is brilliant. i cant get enough. plus, i love the stuff he can get away with. all his books are 75% sentence fragments...its his style. oh and im also reading Dante's "Inferno" which i just started. and finished The Incognio Lounge by Denis Johnson which is a bunch of poems.

if youre into short stories, Jesus' Son by Denis Johnson is really kool too. you can sit down and read it in about an hour. And um, any play by Peter Shaffer is great too. Equus is my favorite so far.

i can make a list a mile long, but really it depends on what youre interested in.

World According to Garp - John Irving

I've just finished "Iceberg" by Clive Cussler. Very good with a great plot. A little confusing and slow sometimes, but still good.

One of my friends told me about "Raise the Titanic" by the same author, and I want to read that one.

Just finished the first book in Garth Nix's new series "Keys to the Kingdom". I can already tell that the series is going to be awesome. The first book ("Mister Monday") rocked. It wasn't as complex as the other books Nix has written (which are INSANELY awesome), but it rocked nonetheless. :D

I finished "One Door Away From Heaven" by Dean Kootnz today. I loved it. :biglove

Pick up The Face or Odd Thomas by him next.

I just finished reading "Pearl Harbor - Final Judgement" by Henry Claussen. It was an authoratative examination of the historical events leading up to the attack at Pearl Harbor.

Great read if you like details, chronological referencing, and fact based conclusions.

Finally continue reading in Great Expectations after a long pause. :D
