This was one of the books suggested for the Book Club, so I thought I would make a thread so people could discuss it, since there seems to be interest...

I loved this book; it was hilarious!

I read "Naked" by him and really didn't care for it. I found it somewhat juvenile. Just my opinion, though, and maybe this one is better...

Nah, if you didn't like Naked you probably wouldn't like Me Talk Pretty One Day. I loved both of them. Of course.

Actually, I prefer Me Talk Pretty One Day over Naked. But, if you don't enjoy that type of humor, Anna, may not like it.

Oh I did as well. Me Talk is much better than Naked, but if you don't like the style of Naked I can't see you liking Me Talk.

I was in the hospital for two weeks and my friends bought me a whole stack of books to read and that was one of them - the only reason I read it actually. I had the most eclectic mix of books while I was in there...

I just listened to a collection of his books. They were hilarious.

I have heard him read excerpts of his books on public radio and just laughed the entire time.
