Anna Quindlen - "Black and Blue"

Anna Quindlen - "Black and Blue"
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/A...7056197-7568055
1999, 4 stars, 384 pages

This was one of the books suggested for the Book Club, so I thought I would make a thread so people could discuss it, since there seems to be interest...

This book is one of the next ones on my book list too...

I listened to this one a couple of years ago and really liked it. Like "The Lovely Bones" it's not a happy cheerful book, but certainly well written and intriguing.

I just finished listening to another Anna Quindlen book that I loved: "Blessings". Very heartwarming and moving.

Once I finish reading it, would you like to discuss it?

Are you reading the book now, Anna? (Black and Blue)

I read it a while ago, and it would be interesting/intriguing to discuss it after you're done. I have some problems with the book, but I'd get into that later.

I'm not reading it currently, but it's one of the next books in my stack... I read about a book every day or two...

I'd be happy to discuss, but I'll probably have to read it again. I have the memory of a gnat.

But I do remember that I liked it.
