This was one of the books suggested for the Book Club, so I thought I would make a thread so people could discuss it, since there seems to be interest...

My mom has been telling me to read this book, so I'm about to get started on it soon...

Oh, this was my favorite book of recent years! I've re-read it three times already.

When I was reading it I immediately "saw" Reese Witherspoon as the self-involved oldest sister called "Termite" (I can't think of her real name right now). I think I also "cast" Robert Duvall as the father, and Frances McDormand as the mother.

I want them to make a movie of this book, but I'm a little afraid it would be ruined.

This book was awesome. After seeing everyone comment about it, I'm gonna have to get my copy out and read it again. Make sure you read it Anna. You won't be disappointed!
