Thanks Lucy. I think I'll pick up Brother Odd and give it a try.

Love the Odd Thomas series..except the second one wasn't quite as good. But I'm excited to see the new one is out!

    The new one is out????

I LOVED the Odd Thomas series! And I hadn't read Koontz for about 10 years until that series came out. I had read him from the first book and then he got really strange and I gave up on him until Odd Thomas. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Odd Thomas

    Re: Dean Koontz

I just picked up Odd Thomas and Brother Odd on Monday. I finished Odd Thomas and even though I have read Forever Odd, I got sucked into the Stormy situation and was crying at the end of the book. Mr buglover laughs at me because I will sit down and read an entire book in one day!

    Re: Dean Koontz

I finally picked up "Watchers" because so many people called it their favorite. And I really did like it; I don't always feel emotionally invested in Koontz characters, but this time I did, mostly because of the dog, I think. The line "I would die of lonely" almost had me in tears, but that might have been the wine too.

I'm struggling to get into Brother Odd. It just isn't flowing the way Odd Thomas did. I'll keep trying though because I want to pick up the new one soon!

I just finished Forever Odd and am now starting on Odd Hours. I miss his early writing style though but it is still an okay read.

Interesting. I read Brother Odd first. Liked it so then I read Forever Odd. I thought it was okay. I bought the audio tape of Odd Thomas and Odd Hours. I really liked both of them. Odd Thomas really sucks you into the story. Odd Hours leaves you wanting to read the next book.
