Just finished The Face. Hmmmmmm. Parts of it were fascinating -- really scary, but some parts were just so drawn out. Perhaps this wasn't the best *first* book I could have read of DKs. :shrug

Finally got Twilight Eyes. I'm gonna start it tonight. :yay :yay :yay
If you've never read The Funhouse, you should check it out. He wrote that one under the name Owen West.Quote:
Do you have any of his books published under his many pen-names as well as the re-prints under "Koontz"?
I have just about finished Darkfall, its pretty good. It was written 20 years ago, when I found it at the library, I thought it was a newer one. DK used to have a lot of cop characters in his first novels and this has a cop and his partner trying to solve gruesome murders that in turn affect his 2 children.
Jewelsy, how are you liking Twilight Eyes?
My understanding of The Funhouse is that Dean wrote that, and liked the idea of a carnival setting so much, he incorporated some elements into Twilight Eyes.
Cable Jockey, thanks for your info. I requested Twilight Eyes from my library and will hopefully get it soon. You seemed to have liked it and made it sound very scary. I'll see if you are right. ;) :)
I'm liking it. VERY creepy. :devilQuote:

When I first read lightning, many many moons ago, I didn't care for it. But I re-read it about 3 years ago, and loved it. I'm not sure why I disliked it when I first read it. :shrug
