Has anyone mentioned (for the book of the month) or read "Losing Julia" by Jonathan Hull?
I think this would be an interesting one to share ideas and opinions on..... I'm new to this site, but I've read so many books that ...... well...... let's just say I have LOTS and LOTS of books........ and I read very fast..... which makes it difficult to keep me entertained very long... I can read a simple novel in 1-2 days... and if it's fascinating (ie... makes me slow down and savor) I may take a week...... sigh.
Glad to be here... hope that I will be able to share in things..... How old are the readers (mostly) in this group? Just Curious.....

I tried to put a variety of books for all ages so we can encompass many different genres. We can't read about death, poverty, and sadness all the time, can we? :lol Please vote. I will end voting in about a week or so. We will be reading/discussing the two top books after the voting process is over.
Ixcrisxi (pretty in red :)) or anyone else. If The Rule of the Bone is ever picked, please let me know. I'm not able to read any new books now, but I did read that one.

Looks like the youths are getting into the action a little bit. I haven't even voted yet! Is anyone going to vote or is this a bad time because of schooling or kids? :shrug If it is, I need to know. I have decided that we will read books according to a list that is created by you! The books that you suggest will make a list at random. Depending on how popular the book is, it may appear sooner rather than later! A list will appear either every month or every other month! I need book suggestions to get a well-rounded list. :nod So, if you have want of suggesting books, please PM, E-mail, or instant message me. You can also post your suggestions here in this thread! Feel free to send me comments or suggestions on how the book club should be run! I am welcoming all new ideas!
Hey, readers! :winkgrin It is almost time for me to post the December Book List for you all! :triplets So, I figure it's time I received some input from all of you. Please suggest books you want to read,
find interesting, heard of, vary from what is on the list thus far, absoluetly love. Books can be from any genre as long as they're not far-out (we're PG-13, remember?). :lol
If you're into juvenile books, please submit those, also! There are a lot of young people on the FORT who'd probably find interest in those books. I'm a teen, I know how it feels. ;) So, submit your suggestions and we'll post summaries and lists a.s.a.p. Thanks again, ladies and gentlemen!
