Depends on the kind of shipping you get Glenna, it can be anywhere between one day to two weeks.

It depends on where you order it from. I order most of my books used online through half.com or amazon and they usually come within a week....

Sorry for the delay - I just glanced at the posts to tabulate votes but I didn't really read them.

Thanks, anna! I've ordered things that were supposed to come quickly, and didn't show up for two to three weeks. I'm hoping that if I have to order one, I'll be able to get it in time. Our local library has a very limited supply of popular books.

Hazy will have a field day trashing Lovely bones but it will make for great discussion!

You can order from amazon.com and I would get a used one and bam there you go pretty fast. Target and Wal-mart both carry the lovely bones.. I have seen it at ours anyway!

This could be interesting, if I can find the time to read the books. I will try though!

I'm going to vote for "Lovely Bones" and "Exit The Rainmaker"

BTW- I hate to nit-pick, but it's driving me crazy......it's "A Prayer For Owen Meany"

oh I like it firegirl... I just think it's WAY overrated. But yea, it'll make for good discussion. I'll try not to bring my degree into play when discussing it, I might sound like one of them literary snobs then. I think it's great discussing literature... people reading and talking about books is a lost art now.
