No, I'm not on crutches, but I did almost crawl to the computer to say a HUGE thank you to everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes. You don't know truly HOW MUCH it means to me today. I needed the cheering up, that's for sure.

I have had some medical issues this week (intestinal blockage. NOT fun, don't reccomend it to anyone and it was not due to my weight loss surgery. It was in a wholly different area than was touched by the surgery) and had an outpatient procedure done yesterday. And Newf, I was a smokin hot babe with a fever of 103 by the time I got to the ER. I mean, I was sizzling!

So today I have been taking it easy and I can't even celebrate as I am on a pretty bland and liquid diet for a few days. Can you put cake in the blender?

I did get beautiful flowers and balloons from friends and my family is going to take me out when I can eat real food again.

I'm hoping I feel well enough tomorrow as Kevin Costner's band (I didn't know he had one or could sing. Seriously, even if he can't sing, all he needs to do for me is just stand up on the stage and look good) is giving a free concert downtown. He's in town for a golf tournament. So I'm hoping I can go to that.

But many, many, many thanks to my friends at the FORT for making my day so special.

And a special shout out to FinallyHere on your birthday. I hope you get to celebrate for both of us!
