Re: Final Results - Season 5

Thanks for the pictures! Even though some of them aren't super skinny, when you compare them to the "before", they all did really fabulous!!!

Re: Final Results - Season 5 *Updated with Pictures*

Beginning to end for Season 5 was only 6 months as opposed to 8 months for Season 4, so I'm very impressed with the results. That fact that some of them have more weight to lose doesn't make them any less inspiring as far as I'm concerned. With the exception of Lynn and Jenni (first team voted out) they all lost at least 25% of their starting weight. That's HUGE! And to have those numbers in just 6 months is really amazing. Season 4 also had a number of contestants that still had weight to lose at the end even though they had two more months to lose it. But having less time to lose at home definitely made the final reveal a little less exciting. It just didn't have the same impact as, say, when Julie walked out at the Season 4 finale. She absolutely blew me away with how tiny she was.

Anyway, I'm impressed with all of them. Losing weight and changing your lifestyle is no easy feat. I'm hoping that they have made a permanent change and will never need a show like TBL again.

Thank you very much for the side by side pictures Crossing Guard it is really great to see the before and after shots. It is so difficult to really see how much the contestents have changed when I go to the Biggest Loser website because they have mutlitple photographs and what I (and I am sure other visitors) really want is a side by side comparison. NBC that is a big DUH! moment. Fix that next time.

I'm really happy for Ali, she lost almost half of her weigt.
But the side-effect is, that she look very old, after loosing so much weight.

I saw Lynn last week at a local bar/restaraunt looks like he may have put on a few pounds I'm sure the 2 Guiness and the messy sandwich didn't help any. I didn't talk to him but he announced to the bartender that he was on the show and that he lost 90 lbs.

Huh, give the girl a break. She gets grief for being overweight and grief for looking old now she is at her normal weight.

Ali lost a tremdous about of weight in a very short time. Give her body and face 4 to 6 months to settle (the remaining bodyfat to redistribute) and she will look less tired and more her age.

Re: Final Results - Season 5 *Updated with Pictures*

I just joined FORT and love it here! I wish I had been a member when BL was on - but next season.

I just did a quick read through of threads and am surprised to see no discussion on the theory Mark and Ali were involved. Or did I miss the posts?

There was speculation on other boards about this and the expert sleuthers here with screen caps would have shown tons of body language supporting the theory.

However, I think that was all just talk as it appears Mark is happily married.

After the Marty and Amy incident - anything is possible during this life changing experience.

I wonder if Ali and some of the other singles have found true love?

If anyone has a recent shot of her, now that time has passed, I'd love to see if the theory that things settle and redistribute is true.
