Re: The Biggest Loser Ukrainian transformations

Now I'm going to present to you the contestants from season 3. So far this is the only couples season in the Ukrainian TBL. 12 couples came to the ranch to fight back for their health and lives - which makes it 24 contestants; quite a number, don't you think?

There were two trainers in this season: each took six couples. Female trainer (Anita Lutsenko) was responsible for Black, Purple, White, Yellow, Pink and Brown teams. Male trainer (Igor Obukhovski) controlled Blue, Orange, Green, Aqua, Gray and Red teams.

So, here goes the basic information about the contestants:

Now, to the before-and-after photos (in order of elimination):

    Tatiana Zin'kiv
    Team: AQUA
Starting weight: 122 kilos (269 lbs)
Finale weight: 103 kilos (227 lbs)
    Weight loss: 15,57%

    TRIVIA:
    - In 2014 Tatiana claimed in vk.com that she weighs around 80 kilos, which is quite difficult to believe.

    Olesya Zin'kiv
    Team: AQUA
Starting weight: 106 kilos (234 lbs)
Finale weight: 90 kilos (198 lbs)
    Weight loss: 15,09%

    TRIVIA:
    - Unfortunately, this is the worst result among all 24 contestants.

    Natalia Eminova
    Team: YELLOW
Starting weight: 115 kilos (254 lbs)
Finale weight: 75 kilos (165 lbs)
    Weight loss: 34,78%

    TRIVIA:
    - Was the Biggest Loser in Week 1, having lost 6 kilos. However, in week 2 her team fell below the yellow line and was eliminated.

    Alla Petrova
    Team: YELLOW
Starting weight: 103 kilos (227 lbs)
Finale weight: 62 kilos (137 lbs)
    Weight loss: 39,81%

    TRIVIA:
    - In week 14 all the eliminated contestants had a chance to come back to the camp, but to do it, they had to win over all the remaining contestants in a challenge. Alla was the last standing member of an eliminated team in this challenge, but also lost, so noboyd returned.

    Elena Lyaschenko
    Team: GRAY
Starting weight: 92 kilos (203 lbs)
Finale weight: 74 kilos (163 lbs)
    Weight loss: 19,56%

Finale weight: 92 kilos (203 lbs)

    Evgeniya Mostovenko
    Team: RED
Starting weight: 130 kilos (287 lbs)

    Marina Satschko
    Team: ORANGE

Starting weight: 134 kilos (295 lbs)
Finale weight: 82 kilos (181 lbs)
    Weight loss: 38,81%

    TRIVIA:
    - Injured a hand in week 3 at the challenge; nevertheless somehow managed to take part in big physical challenges at the next week and was one of the first to complete it.
    - Famous for screaming loudly and joyfully when winning challenges and pulling out big numbers; because of this feature has received a nickname "Tarzan" among the Ukrainian audience.
    - In 2014 applied to MasterChef and made it to the top-20; but was eliminated early on in week 4, having reached only the final 15.

    Igor Zhurbenko
    Team: GREEN

    TRIVIA:
    - He and his wife Yulia Gajdak divorced after the end of the show.
    - Being the strongest contestant of this season (Evgeniy won a half of the challenges), he shockingly gained 8 kilos before the finale and showed one of the worst results among all 24 contestants. There are proofs in the web that he gained a lot of weight back.

    Ilya Yakovlev
    Team: GREEN
Starting weight: 147 kilos (324 lbs)
Finale weight: 99 kilos (218 lbs)
    Weight loss: 32,65%
    RUNNER-UP

    TRIVIA:

    - Married to Natalia Moskalenko from orange team soon after the season's end.

    Marijka Vdovenko
    Team: PINK
Starting weight: 127 kilos (280 lbs)
Finale weight: 64 kilos (141 lbs)

Would like to pay your attention to the fact that our male trainer Igor Obukhovski failed cruelly at this show. As you may see, top-9 results came from people who were trained by a female trainer Anita Lutsenko. Also, if take complete team results (the average percentage of weight loss between both members of a coupl), then pink was 1st, black 2nd, purple 3rd, yellow 4th, brown 5th and white 6th. All these six teams were trained by Anita.

Sabur, thank you for posting all of this. I especially enjoyed the photos. Most of them look as if they had shed years along with the weight!

Re: The Biggest Loser Ukrainian transformations

So, here comes season 2 (2012). In this season we had two teams trained by the same trainers. Anita trained the red team, and Igor trained the blue team. Red team had 10 contestants initially, whilst blue team had 11; that was explained by the fact that in red team there were more men (which supposedly made this team stronger in challenges), and that there was the heaviest contestant (who supposedly was to pull out big numbers).

The basic information about our season 2 contestants:

Now to the before-and-after photos. Sorry, but in this season our photographers made only close-ups, so I cannot show you the lower part of the body.

    Viatscheslav Krivoscheev
Starting weight: 220 kilos (485 lbs)
Finale weight: 154 kilos (340 lbs)
    Weight lost: 30,00%

    TRIVIA:
    - The heaviest contestant in the history of Ukrainian TBL.
    - Before the season's start Viatscheslav weighed 250 kilos (551 lbs), which is even more than Michael Ventrella's starting weight. However he managed to lose 30 kilos before the season's start, got rid of 66 kilos during the show period, and then lost about 40 kilos in 2013, which makes his current weight circa 120 kilos (exact figure is unknown); this makes him a true role model to follow.
    - Lost only 3 kilos in the first week weigh-in which made him the Smallest Loser of the week and sent him below the yellow line. At first the team wanted to spare him, but Viatcheslav himself insisted on his elimination, saying that camp workouts and challenges were too difficult for him. Well, he's like Don and Dan Evans from season 11, who also threw up weigh-ins to go home but lost a lot of weight there.
    - Was chosen by Ukraine at the end of the previous season as the first contestant to take part in season 2.

    Nastya Bukhalda
Starting weight: 122 kilos (269 lbs)
Finale weight: 70 kilos (154 lbs)
    Weight lost: 42,62%

    TRIVIA:
    - Married Yurij Melnik after the season's end.
    - Appeared together with Yurij in season 4 as the host of one of the challenges.
    - Was eliminated in a rather controversial voting session by mostly older contestants from the Blue Team, which evoked an angry reaction from Yurij and several other contestants, and from Ukrainian audience too.
    - The youngest contestant of the seaon.

    Anzhela Garkavenko
Starting weight: 166 kilos (366 lbs)
Finale weight: 103 kilos (227 lbs)
    Weight lost: 37,19%

    TRIVIA:
    - Constantly conflicted with Roman, the leader of their team, and questioned all his decisions. Ultimately that became the main reason for her elimination.

    Tatiana Benderskaya
Starting weight: 120 kilos (265 lbs)
Finale weight: 102 kilos (225 lbs)
    Weight lost: 15,00%

    TRIVIA:
    - The twin sister of Olga Gomanyuk.
    - Had the smallest weight loss among all contestants.

    Vadim Dobronovskiy
Starting weight: 139 kilos (306 lbs)
Finale weight: 97 kilos (214 lbs)
    Weight lost: 30,21%

    TRIVIA:
    - Attempted to be the leader of the Blue team in week 2 leader voting session, but suddenly called out his candidature, which caused a contemptous reaction from several other contestants.
    - Shockingly gained 2 kilos in week 5 weigh-in (presumably this was a muscle gain).

    Olga Gomanyuk
Starting weight: 138 kilos (304 lbs)
Finale weight: 109 kilos (240 lbs)
    Weight lost: 21,01%

    TRIVIA:
    - The twin sister of Tatiana Benderskaya.
    - Had (along with Tatiana) the worst result among all contestants; nevertheless, they both were smiling and happy at the finale.

    Oksana Perunova
Starting weight: 182 kilos (401 lbs)
Finale weight: 124 kilos (273 lbs)
    Weight lost: 31,87%

    TRIVIA:
    - Holds a record in losing the most kilos in a week among all women in the history of Ukrainian series (10 kilos = 22 pounds).
    - Broke a leg during an accident in the training at the climbing wall in week 5. Nevertheless managed to stay at the camp for three more weeks, and even helped her team to win a exercise bike challenge in week 7 (she didn't break the bones which were needed to pedal the bike).

    Anna Mulik
Starting weight: 133 kilos (293 lbs)
Finale weight: 70 kilos (154 lbs)
    Weight lost: 47,37%

    TRIVIA:
    - Belongs to the contestants whose face was terribly disfigured by the big weight, but at the finale a totally different girl went out to the stage. This is one of the most impressing transformations in Ukrainian TBL.

    Oleg Golovanov
Starting weight: 135 kilos (298 lbs)
Finale weight: 98 kilos (216 lbs)
    Weight lost: 27,41%

    TRIVIA:
    - Is known for helping each team member during the challenges, which made for him a reputation of a "kind man".
    - Attempted to be the team leader in week 2, but lost the elections to Olga Davydko.
    - Was eliminated unanimously in week 9, which caused a very angry reaction from the show audience (the public was angry because Oleg helped everybody and sometimes sacrificed himself for the sake of the team; and considered his voting-out as a backstabbing). However, this was already the third time Oleg fell below the "inner yellow line", so it's doubtful that his elimination was unfair.

    Lubov Solyanik
Starting weight: 133 kilos (293 lbs)
Finale weight: 82 kilos (181 lbs)
    Weight lost: 38,34%

    TRIVIA:
    - Was, probably, the very weakest contestant in the challenges; nevertheless, pulled out quite big numbers at weigh-ins.
    - An orphan; grew up in a boarding school.
    - According to one VK user, she gained a lot of weight back by the autumn of 2013 (whether this is truth, is not known).

    Umberto Penya Kabrera
Starting weight: 133 kilos (293 lbs)
Finale weight: 75 kilos (165 lbs)
    Weight lost: 43,61%

    TRIVIA:
    - Attempted to be the leader of the Red team, but lost the elections to Roman Yaremko, who was elected unanimously. As he stressed, he wanted to become the leader to "drive urge adults".
    - Lost his father a few months before the season's start.
    - Was eliminated along with Lubov in week 10 in "for-elimination": they both fell below the yellow line together with Roman Yaremko. The remaining four team members had to choose one person to stay in the game, and the majority chose Roman, so that Umberto and Lubov were both eliminated indirectly.

    Olga Davydko
Starting weight: 184 kilos (406 lbs)
Finale weight: 114 kilos (251 lbs)
    Weight lost: 38,04%

    TRIVIA:
    - Olga is a famous Ukrainian sumo fighter - she is the first Ukrainian World Champion in sumo (in heavy weight category).
    - Was the leader of the Blue Team.
    - Had a fever in week 9 and din't take part in challenges; then fell below the yellow line together with Oleg Golovanov, but was saved by the team.
    - Appeared in season 3 as a host for the challenge (the sumo fighting challenge, which is not surprising).
    - Came to the show to be able to make a baby. And achieved her goal, giving a birth to a baby in 2013.

    Larisa Ikim
Starting weight: 127 kilos (280 lbs)
Finale weight: 86 kilos (190 lbs)
    Weight lost: 32,28%

    TRIVIA:
    - Had a problem with her legs and often sat out at the challenges (either by her own or her team's choice. Neverthless showed a very strong performance at the challenges that involved handwork - for example, bended a lot of armatura bars at one challenge, and won a contest in which contestants had to hold barrels above their heads.
    - In spite of pain in her legs, completed a half-marathon challenge in week 11.

    Kristina Kirtschiu
Starting weight: 119 kilos (262 lbs)
Finale weight: 83 kilos (183 lbs)
    Weight lost: 30,25%

    TRIVIA:
    - In contrast to the majority of contestants, she didn't have a lot of extra fat in the abdomen area: her main problem was - i'm sorry - butt and thighs, which made her weight loss more difficult than for other contestants. At the finale she also obviously had a "sandglass": figure.
    - Was very lucky to drop small numbers during the team period on that weeks that her team won the weigh-ins; and big numbers when her team lost so she didn't fall below the yellow line too often.
    - Attempted to be the leader of the Red Team in week 2, but lost the elections to Roman Yaremko.
    - In 2014 took part in the show "Trainees", where the winner gets a job in a prestigious model agency, and won it. She works currently as a model (the very first +size model in Ukraine). According to her words, she weighs currently 87 kilos.
    - Probably has a Roma background: she comes from Reni, the town that is situated on the border between Ukraine and Romania.

    Vladimir Odnorog
Starting weight: 129 kilos (284 lbs)
Finale weight: 84 kilos (185 lbs)
    Weight lost: 34,88%

    TRIVIA:
    - Appeared in season 4 at one of the Blue Team's workouts where he assisted Igor Obukhovski, the trainer.
    - Works as a fitness trainer after the season's end.

    Alena Lapteva
Starting weight: 110 kilos (243 lbs)
Finale weight: 65 kilos (143 lbs)
    Weight lost: 40,91%

    TRIVIA:
    - The lightest contestant of the season
    - Despite having the lightest weight among all contestants, managed to stay out of the yellow line until week 13.

    Yurij Melnik
Starting weight: 164 kilos (362 lbs)
Finale weight: 86 kilos (190 lbs)
    Weight lost: 47,56%
    AT-HOME PRIZE WINNER

    TRIVIA:
    - Has never lost less than 2 kilos in a week during all 16 weeks that he spent at the camp. On week 16 he also lost 2 kilos but that sent him under the yellow line for the very first time, but he was eliminated as being not the part of the alliance between Roman, Andrei and Marta. On the one hand, this was very unfair (as Andrei Marnauz, who was under the yellow line with him, has already been there twice before). On the other hand, if Yurij wasn't eliminated, he wouldn't have won an at-home prize.
    - Fell in love with Nastya Bukhalda during the casting, and later proposed to her at the finale.
    - Was very frustrated when Nastya left the camp on week 2, and set on revenge to the Blue Team members who voted her out (the group included Tatiana, Vadim, Olga, Anna and Larisa). However continued his revenge for some reason even after Larisa (the last standing member of this group) was eliminated.
    - Appeared together with Nastya in season 4 as a host of the challenge in one of the last weeks.
    - Won the at-home prize only by one kilo from Anna Mulik.

    Marta Karpenko
Starting weight: 125 kilos (276 lbs)
Finale weight: 71 kilos (157 lbs)
    Weight lost: 43,02%

    TRIVIA:
    - Married Andrei Marnauz in 2013 after the season's end.
    - Appeared together with Andrei in season 3 as the host of one of the challenges.
    - Was the last standing woman of this season, but also didn't make it to the finale due to Ukraine's vote.
    2ND RUNNER-UP

    Andrei Marnauz
Starting weight: 172 kilos (379 lbs)
Finale weight: 92 kilos (203 lbs)
    Weight lost: 46,51%

    TRIVIA:
    - Married Marta Karpenko in 2013 after the season's end.
    - Appeared together with Marta in season 3 as the host of one of the challenges.
    - Had very controversial relationships with Roman Yaremko. They constantly argued and even quarrelled because of the different points of view as to the management of the team; in spite of this fact, they always saved each other at the voting sessions (Andrei was to save Roman once; Roman saved Andrei for three times).
    - Attempted to be the leader of the Red Team in week 2, but lost the elections to Roman Yaremko.

    Roman Yaremko
Starting weight: 147 kilos (324 lbs)
Finale weight: 75 kilos (165 lbs)
    Weight lost: 48,98%
    RUNNER-UP

    TRIVIA:
    - Was the leader and the last standing member of the Red Team.
    - Works as a fitness trainer after the end of the season.
    - Appeared in season 4 in week 8 as the trainer of the one-week formed Black Team (which consisted of the presumable losers from other three teams - each team chose one player to get to this team). This Black Team won the weigh-in on that week.
    - Has been the Biggest Loser of the week in the first three consecutive weeks, which is the record in the Ukrainian series.

    Alik Zakrevskiy
Starting weight: 159 kilos (351 lbs)
Finale weight: 73 kilos (161 lbs)
    Weight lost: 54,08%
    2ND UKRAINIAN BIGGEST LOSER

    TRIVIA:
    - Was one of the most unperceptible contestants during the whole season and followed the tactics of "joining the majority"; dropped big numbers but never was named a threat by anyone.
    - Has formed friendly relationships with Oleg Golovanov but voted him out in week 9, which gave him a very bad reputation until the season's end (though he saved Oleg 2 times before).
    - The last standing member of the Blue Team.
    - Has the biggest percentage of weight loss among all Ukrainian contestants in 4 seasons (54,08%). He looked really anorexic at the finale, though formally his BMI was normal (22,5).

I don't know what happened, but I've just posted season 1 and it didn't appear. Then I tried once more and was said that my post duplicates the previous one that I posted here.

Then I changed one letter in the post and was told that the moderator has to check it. I hope it appears soon here.

Re: The Biggest Loser Ukrainian transformations

Let's get down, finally, to the 1st Ukrainian season. Of couse, that happened already three years ago, and not all contestant look today like they look in after-photoes, but the results are worth mentioning.

Season 1 was very straightforward in its structure: 2 teams, each consisted of 10 people. Team period lasted for 10 weeks, then the remaining 10 contestans received individual colors and continued their fight individually.

The basic information about the 20 pioneer contestants of Ukrainian TBL:

    Now, to the achievements:

    Natascha Zagorodnyaya
Starting weight: 113 kg (249 lbs)
Finale weight: 72 kg (159 lbs)
    Weight loss: 36,28%

    TRIVIA:
    - Was eliminated in week 1 after only 1 kilo loss due to being presumably one of the mentally strongest contestants; the Red Team did really good job in eliminating, always voting only by heart or by sport principle (and never for strategic purposes).

    Irina Sklyarenko
Starting weight: 120 kg (265 lbs)
Finale weight: 111 kg (245 lbs)
    Weight loss: 7,5%

    TRIVIA:
    - This is the ever worst result in the history of Ukrainian TBL, and she gained it all back later. Was voted out unanimously.

    Dmitri Ryl'
Starting weight: 183 kg (403 lbs)
Finale weight: 110 kg (243 lbs)
    Weight loss: 39,89%

    TRIVIA:
    - The heaviest contestant in the 1st season.
    - In week 3 had a big struggle with the pain in his legs and was forbidden to workout. The same week he fell together under the yellow line with no weight loss at all (together with Viktor Levchuk who also lost nothing), and was voted out. Considered it to be a conspiracy against him and left without saying goodbye to no one (later his team didn't go out to see him off too).

    Yulia Kuvschinova
Starting weight: 115 kg (254 lbs)
Finale weight: 57 kg (126 lbs)
    Weight loss: 50,43%
    AT-HOME PRIZE WINNER

    TRIVIA:
    - Participated in X-factor a few years before.
    - After winning at-home prize, she wrote an autobiography book where described her experience in losing weight.
    - In the next seasons she appeared at the finale where she performed songs at the stages.
    - Sadly, but gained almost a half of her starting weight back by 2014.

    Olesya Ivanova
Starting weight: 177 kg (390 lbs)
Finale weight: 135 kg (298 lbs)
    Weight loss: 23,73%

    TRIVIA:
    - The heaviest female contestant of this season.
    - Had the biggest finale weight among all women in the history of Ukrainian TBL.
    - Got rid of a lot of extra weight later via operation.

    Inna Kisil'
Starting weight: 125 kg (276 lbs)
Finale weight: 89 kg (196 lbs)
    Weight loss: 28,80%

    TRIVIA:
    - In week 6, Inna fell below the yellow line together with Mikhail Repekh. But the team couldn't make a decision - there was a tie (4 people voted for Inna, 4 people voted for Mikhail). So the Red Team had to make the decision, so they decided to keep Mikhail in as they were feeling sorry for the young boy, and Inna had her own family.

    Pavel Yatkovskiy
Starting weight: 177 kg (390 lbs)
Finale weight: 99 kg (218 lbs)
    Weight loss: 44,70%

    TRIVIA:
    - Left the show with a lot of scandals surrounding him. In week 7 the Red Team won a challenge and - this was a reward - went to the restaurant, which simultaneously was a temptation. They didn't refrain from it and ate a lot of high-calory food. The team did badly at the weigh-in, and Pavel even gained 2 kilos, which met a sarcastic applause from the Blue Team. Nikolay, the leader of the Red Team, "declared a war" to the Blue Team for this contemptous gesture to Pavel. Also Pavel came drunk to the workout where behaved rudly, so the trainer told him to get out of the gym and didn't talk to him until the weigh-in.

    Natalia Konstantinovskaya
Starting weight: 164 kg (362 lbs)
Finale weight: 116 kg (256 lbs)
    Weight loss: 29,29%

    TRIVIA:
    N/A

    Susanna Esmail Pur
Starting weight: 136 kg (300 lbs)
Finale weight: 98 kg (216 lbs)
    Weight loss: 27,94%

    TRIVIA:
    - Lost 9 kilos in week 1 weigh-in, which was the biggest weight loss among all women.

    Alena Siroschtanenko
Starting weight: 100 kg (220 lbs)
Finale weight: 58 kg (128 lbs)
    Weight loss: 42,00%

    TRIVIA:
    - The lightest contestant of the season.
    - Until season 4 was the contestant with the smallest weight at the camp (until Yulia Fomina outplayed her in this criterium).

    Viktor Levtschuk
Starting weight: 179 kg (395 lbs)
Finale weight: 142 kg (313 lbs)
    Weight loss: 20,67%

    TRIVIA:
    - Was obviously sparing himself at workous and challenges, and as a result, gained 3 kilos at the post-show (which was filmed in september). However, then managed to lose a few more kilos. According to the sources in VK, has arranged his private life after the show.

    Gennadij Kolomiets
Starting weight: 155 kg (342 lbs)
Finale weight: 92 kg (203 lbs)
    Weight loss: 40,64%

    TRIVIA:
    - The oldest contestant of the season.
    - Shockingly gained 1 kilo at the week 1 weigh-in, which naturally sent him below the yellow line. Gennadij packed the bags and even dressed up in his upper clothes, hinting that he is ready to go home for his shameful result. However, the team spared him and sent Natascha home instead.
    - In week 12 he left, like Pavel, with a scandal surrounding him. He fell below the yellow line along with Elena Nestrinyuk. Sascha Popovych, who had the only deciding vote that week, was to choose between them. He befriended Gennadij and was neutral to Elena, so everyone thought he would vote Elena out. However, Sascha surprisingly voted Gennadij out (it is unknown for what reasons), which caused his friend Nikolay to turn on at him and at the rest of the camp (a lot of people befriended Elena).

    Mikhail Repekh
Starting weight: 146 kg (322 lbs)
Finale weight: 83 kg (183 lbs)
    Weight loss: 43,15%

    TRIVIA:
    - Was the youngest contestant of the season along with Sascha Popovych. Though he was weaker both physically and mentally than his counterpart, Mikhail managed to lose the bigger percentage of weight in the end than Sascha.

    Galina Borosch
Starting weight: 143 kg (315 lbs)
Finale weight: 83 kg (183 lbs)
    Weight loss: 41,96%

    TRIVIA:
    - Was the "brains" of the Blue Team and took part in quizes. Also was the informal leader of her team.

    Andrei Kolodij
Starting weight: 160 kg (353 lbs)
Finale weight: 101 kg (223 lbs)
    Weight loss: 36,87%

    TRIVIA:
    - Was the leader of the Blue Team.
    - Had a personal tragedy to confront during the show. In week 10 he learned that his sister died, and left depressed for funeral. No one believed that he would return, but he did it. The red team that won an immunity that week (that had to be given to one contestant) decided unanimously to give it to Andrei to keep him in the show after a terrible week, which obviously didn't bring good weight loss to him.
    - Unfortunately, gained back a lot of weight after the end of the show.

    Elena Nestrinyuk
Starting weight: 136 kg (300 lbs)
Finale weight: 95 kg (209 lbs)
    Weight loss: 33,90%

    TRIVIA:
    - Was an outsider in the Red Team, questioning the leadership of Nikolay and communicating more with the Blue Team.
    - Supposedly influenced Sascha psychically to save her during week 12 elimination (Elena has an education of a psychologist), which caused a big part of audience to hate her.
    - Fell below the yellow line five times, and shares this record with Marina Satschko from season 3.

    Valentina Podlesnaya
Starting weight: 130 kg (287 lbs)
Finale weight: 71 kg (157 lbs)
    Weight loss: 45,38%

    TRIVIA:
    - Won the very first and the very last individual challenges, which gave her immunity and -1 kilo at the weigh-in respectively.
    - The last standing member of the Blue Team.
    - Fell below the yellow line together with Zhenia Starikova at the last weigh-in, and was voted out by the Ukrainian audience in spite of the fact that Zhenia showed a very bad performance during the last weeks and lost nothing at the last weigh-in (but Zhenia had a more attractive image to the audience).
    - Lost 45,38% of her weight, which was better than two finalists' (Zhenia and Sascha's) results.
    - Lost 41 kilos being on camp which was the record for three years until Yulia Fomina from season 4 lost 47 kilos.
    - In week 12 there has been a temptation where there were 100 plates with lids on the table, and one contained the Golden Card (which gave the right for the only deciding vote at the elimination): you had the identical temptation in season 7. A few players opened the lids but found there only food which they had to eat. Sascha entered the game later, opened the first lid and was extremely lucky to find there the Golden Card right away.

    Sascha Popovych
Starting weight: 134 kg (295 lbs)
Finale weight: 77 kg (170 lbs)
    Weight loss: 42,54%

    TRIVIA:
    - Was the youngest contestant of the season along with Mikhail Repekh.
    - Has been the Biggest Loser of the week for six times, which is an absolute record.
    - Lost 38,99% of weight being at the camp which was the record for three years until the same Yulia Fomina lost 39,55% to beat it.
    - Has won 6 individual challenges.
    - Works a fitness trainer after the season's en

    Zhenia Starikova
Starting weight: 124 kg (273 lbs)
Finale weight: 69 kg (152 lbs)
    Weight loss: 44,35%
    RUNNER-UP

    TRIVIA:
    - Had love relationships with Sascha Popovych during the show, but the love story ended soon after the season's end.
    - Showed a very poor performance during the last weeks of the show and lost 0 kilos at the last weigh-in, but made it to the finale thanks to her attractive character image to the audience.

    Nikolay Voroschnov
Starting weight: 175 kg (386 lbs)
Finale weight: 90 kg (198 lbs)
    Weight loss: 48,50%
    1ST UKRAINIAN BIGGEST LOSER

    TRIVIA:
    - Was the leader and the last standing member of the Red Team.
    - Being a professional ice hockey player, Nikolay gave a lot of weight to the team spirit and adored his Red Team, fighting for it severely and not sparing himself. At the same time he downplayed the Blue Team, which made all the Blues not like him. He set himself against the Blue Team when they applaused sarcastically to Pavel's 2 kilo gain, and broke his friendship with Sascha Popovych who voted Gennadij out. This left him with no friends at the camp, but he managed nevertheless not to fall below the yellow line at the individual stage of the show and won the whole thing.
    - Won 3 individual challenges.

Sometimes if a post is really large or graphics/picture-heavy, the system throws it into the queue to be approved. You can break one large post down into two posts to avoid that.

I was glad you explained about Kristina in,I think, season 2 (the season with only head shots--what were they thinking?!), as she looked quite attractive and completely normal in her before picture....her hips and legs must have been enormous!

As in the US TBL with weights like these if people don't get into the 40%+ range they still don't look that great at the finale... better, but not great. But once they do they do look good.

Interesting "styling" differences between the finale costumes in Ukraine and the US... and I swear it looks as though Ukraine doesn't have the kind of elastic undergarment that the US show uses (we think) to keep the rolls of now mostly empty skin from making bunches and bumps under the skin tight outfights.

Oh yes her butt and hips were abnormally large in relation to the upper part of the body (before-picture):
