captain, it wasn't Heba. I want to say this woman's name is Diane but I'm not sure that's correct. She was quite a schemer and she was an early boot, though she did well with her weight loss at home.

In regards to Gina losing some much weight and so consistently in the last 7 weeks, I have several diet books written by Dr. Ian Smith (he was on Celebrity Fit Club) and he categorizes people into three groups; A, B, C (if I remember correctly).

A's lose easily and quickly, their bodies just respond well to food plans and exercise to the point that even if they don't always follow the program they continue to lose their weight very well.

B's respond moderately well to food plans and exercise, they need to be more diligent and stick to their food plans and exercise more closely than A's but their bodies do respond well but they can't cheat as much as A's are able to do.

C's are hard losers if they don't follow the food plan to the letter and don't do their exercise they have a hard time losing. They can't cheat because they end up having very poor results.

It's obvious to me that while Gina is not athletic her body responds extremely well to the program they run at the Biggest Loser Ranch.

So I was playing with some numbers (I'm a geek, I know) and found it intersting that even if some of the contestants loose 50% of their weight they still won't be in the healthy BMI range. Some of them will be at the high end and some in the middle. Of course, it depends on which site is used to determine the BMI range. Here is what I came up with as of last weigh in on show (including eliminated contestants). Name/starting weight/total lost % on show/lbs left to loose to reach 50%/weight @ 50% loss/weight range....

So Gina is losing about 8 or 9 lbs a week...IF she kept that up she'd be at 50% in 8 weeks or less...now I know she probably can't, but if she's in the F3 and does, and there are 4 more eliminations (weeks) before we get there, she's going to be looking pretty good before they even go home.

Clearly the people who are not going to be in "normal" BMI range are going to have an "easier" time getting to 50% lost than those who have to get well below the upper margin... so taking just the people who are left...let's see how many lbs. below the upper margin people have to go to hit 50%...

For Gina, at her current rate, that's just a week's loss! So looks like a race between Gina and Jeff and maybe Joe at this point... Danni will have a tougher job of it than Gina, for all she looks to be in so much better shape already. Of course Gina will probably plateau soon, and then all bets are off.

I thought Gina looked heavier than what her actual (current) weight is, so I punched in her height and weight into that site link I posted and I see that she looks exactly like the other women with similar builds. That site was an eye-opener for me.

It was for me too! I have finally lost after 6 wks of eating healthy and tweaking my diet. Seeing that site gave me another motivation!!!!
