Jillian Michaels to return to Season 4 of "The Biggest Loser"

Thank goodness, as she was really great on the show. I read a different article than this one (in my new TV GUIDE) that said that all of her team has had a knee or ankle replacement.

'Biggest Loser' Back With More Heavy Hitters!
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 18, 2007) -- Seven months have passed since Erik Chopin took home the "Biggest Loser" crown. And coming this September, the next batch of competitors shows up on NBC - weighing a combined 5,651 pounds.

And this new crop of contestants is bursting with anticipation to get suddenly svelte!

The group of 18 includes the oldest and heaviest contestants in "Loser" history-- 62-year-old Grandpa Jerry who weighs 297 pounds and 25-year-old Neil who tips the scales at 421 pounds.

And there are even more huge changes in store this year. Instead of only a red and blue team, the show is increasing the load with the black team, which will be led by a familiar face - season one and two's tough talking trainer Jillian, whose back for a third helping of heavy hitters!

Jillian will lead the the "Biggest" black team
"I always make good television," Jillian joked with Access Hollywood.

In fact, Access was on the set as the twist was revealed to the unknowing red and blue teams and their trainers.

"I was like oh no, she's back," laughed trainer Bob. "It completely changes everything that I do now."

But the return of Jillian isn't the only new twist - there's also a new host. Replacing the departed Caroline Rhea is "Days of Our Lives" soap siren Alison Sweeney.

It's an exhausting move for Alison, who will be taping both "Days" and "Loser" at the same time.

"It is definitely difficult to burn both ends of the candle, or whatever it is. I normally would know the expression but at 1 o'clock in the morning, I can't think of it," she smiled.

"The Biggest Loser" returns September 11 at 8PM on NBC.

That will be great, having Jillian back plus seeing how she has her team work out with the joint replacments.

Bob and Kim appear on the previews I've been seeing. Are there three trainers this year then? I wonder why Jillian isn't shown on the previews.

Probably to surprise the regular viewing audience who do not rabidly follow spoilers, annnoucements and any other rumours about reality tv like we do.

I am glad she is back. I wasn't all that fond of Kim last season.

I definitely wasn't a Kim fan last season. I felt like she got way too emotional with her team, fighting and acting like she was going to quit. It seemed kind of immature and unprofessional to me. Plus, I hated that she was talking smack about Bob. Nobody talks smack about Bob!

I'm not a huge fan of Jillian either, but I hope she's able to show her team and others with the same physical limitations that they can still get in shape. Still, I want another Blue Team-er to win this season! Bob just looked so happy when Erik won

I always liked Jillian. I thought Kim was "fakely" emotional!
