    Bob Harper-The Trainer

    from NBC Offical website:

    BOB
    Trainer

Bob Harper has skyrocketed from being one of the most in-demand fitness specialists in the Los Angeles area to becoming one of the most recognized and popular lifestyle personalities in the world. Now entering his second year as one of the fitness trainers on NBC's worldwide hit "The Biggest Loser," Harper has become one of the most credible and sought-after motivational experts on television and DVD, in books and in personal appearances.

In addition to his leadership on "The Biggest Loser," Harper has made appearances on such shows as "Larry King Live," "CNN Live," "Extra," "Access Hollywood," "Entertainment Tonight" and "Inside Edition." He has also been featured in magazines such as Oprah Magazine, US Weekly, Entertainment Tonight, TV Guide, In Touch and Star. Harper's optimistic outlook, practical advice and gregarious demeanor have earned him fans and followers all over the country.

Early next year, Harper will also be a part of the weekly family edition of "The Biggest Loser," where he will train and motivate a new team every week. Continuing his essential role in the expansion of The Biggest Loser brand, Harper also appears on the DVD edition of the show and contributed to health-and-fitness book.

Harper has spent more than a decade in Los Angeles developing his trademark brand of fitness and nutritional integration that leads to lasting lifestyle transformations, and In so doing, has cultivated a devoted following of clients. Harper's approach is founded upon knowing that quick-fix fitness does not lead to continuing and meaningful changes.

Harper adopts an "inside-out" philosophy in which he builds a relationship with each client. First he motivates them to realize their potential and their sense of self-worth. Then he helps them to develop habits -- and ways of thinking and acting -- which enrich and uplift them physically, emotionally and spiritually. His comprehensive approach has led to countless success stories, from top-name celebrities whom he has privately trained, to those who discovered Harper as a group instructor.

For years, Harper has been a premier group fitness instructor across the nation and he's now known around the world. He has trained hundreds at a time in stadiums in the Far East and has been an instructor to trainers themselves, who have absorbed and replicated Harper's energetic and transformative methods with their own clients.

Harper is certified with the American Fitness Training of Athletics and with Aerobics and Fitness Association of America.

Does Bob have a topic here but not Jillian, or am I just hopeless with the search engine here?

Bob does indeed seem lispier. But he also seemed a bit put off to have an all girls team, at least at first.

I noticed that the competing diet schemes (which really weren't all that different) between Bob/Blues and Jillian/Reds either doesn't exist this year, or just isn't being highlit on either the show or website. This time, it's down to gender and the more subtle differences between the two trainer's styles (Jillian is in your face and lays down rules, Bob tries to build up emotional confidence but in turn lays more in his team's own hands to resolve).

Wow - I like Bob and think he's a great trainer, but I wouldn't have thought he was all THAT motivational. Jillian's one tough chick and not as warm & fuzzy as Bob, but I think that I'd have better results with her if I were on BL. (now I'm just talking about ME here, ok?)

LOL! And this being your first post tells me you know him.

Krom, Jillian has to have a thread. I can't find it either.
