I didn't think Filipe was blaming Jillian at all. Quite the opposite, I thought. The situation is what it is, but he shouldn't have let it bother him so much. That was on him.

He didn't blame the trainer... he blamed himself. He just blamed himself for letting her get to him to the point where he didn't do what he needed to do. He took that on himself, rightfully so.
