Hey there kiddos! Welcome back for another week ofTara wins everythingThe Biggest Loser! I know most of you only watch The Biggest Loser when you are flipping the channel over during Idol's commercial breaks. Tsk tsk. How can you stand to miss a minute of this bunch? Oh that's right, they suck. Ron thinks he is the almighty controller of the game, Tara wins every challenge, Mikey is cute just standing there breathing air, and Kristin talks...a lot. I guess there isn't much to miss. Well, in the event that you did find something else to do this week, like watch grass grow, I'm here with your weekly dose of all things Loser!
The show begins with Kristin thanking everyone for keeping her and Tara bawling on the couch. I do feel bad that Miss Pouty Pants lost her partner, but really, the girl was injured! Tara is ticked that Jillian told Mike to send Laura home. When Mike was hugging Jillian after the last weigh-in, he asked her what he should do. She told him to send Laura home. Jillian screams at Tara and calls her selfish and reminds her that Laura couldn't even walk. She thinks it's ridiculous that Tara thought Laura should stay despite her injury. Jillian lays into Tara while Tara sniffles through her words.
Bob has a heart to heart with Kristin. He wants to boost her confidence a bit after her short stint of being under the yellow line. He wants her to let go of her fear and be an inspiration to others. He tells her that she is worthy and she is what the Biggest Loser is all about. Aww. The cheese factor sure is high already tonight folks.
After everyone is done bonding and bawling, it's time for the contestants to participate in a little game show. They walk into a room to find little podiums with their names on them. Ali is there with the editor-in-chief of Good Housekeeping magazine, Rosemary Ellis. The contestants are going to play the Biggest Loser fitness and food trivia quiz! The contestants will be asked four questions. They will write their answers to these questions. Then, Ali and ol' Rosie will check in with some experts at Good Housekeeping to find out the correct answers. The winner of the challenge will win a 3 day, all expenses paid trip to New York City. They will get a private tour of the Good Housekeeping Research Institute and a VIP dining experience there. That's kind of lame. Oh well.

Mikey wins the trip to NYC! Kristin makes a crack about Mikey not even being old enough to go to New York alone, etc. He can take me! Err... I mean... Kristin jokingly sobs around about losing the competition. See, she is a good loser unlike other people on this show.
Bob is a little concerned that his peeps didn't do so well, so he gives them an assignment. He asks them to videotape everything they cook and eat in the next 24 hours. Enter Jillian and enter Ziploc product placement.
It's time for this week's challenge. It must be a cold evening because the players are decked out with sweatshirts, hats, and gloves for the outdoor challenge (we later find out it's 28 degrees). They walk up to an open grassy area to find some crazy metal and rope contraptions. Each person appears to have some sort of stall with their corresponding color lit up. The metal contraption raises into the air. Each person is going to be hanging in a cage 45 feet above the ground. Each cage has a rope attached to one end, and each person will be holding the other end of the rope. This rope will keep them suspended in the cage. If they let go of the rope, the cage will fall and they are out of the challenge. The winner will receive $10,000 or they can trade the money in for a 1lb advantage at this week's weigh-in.
The challenge isn't too thrilling, and it's kind of boring to watch them just hang there. Helen and Kristin throw in a few “oh my God”s and screams. Mikey is the first one out because he said he couldn't deal with the height. Tara, Filipe, and Helen start smack talking and trying to get each other unfocused. After 35 minutes, the rope slips from Ron's hands and he falls. Filipe is jumping around and trying to shake everyone. Helen is getting more and more pissed as Filipe screeches like a wild animal. Finally, Filipe falls. After an hour or so, Kristin falls. Helen and Tara are the last 2 left. Go figure. Hmm... I wonder who is going to win? Helen tries to deal with Tara. She tells her she will split the money but Tara doesn't want to split the money, she wants the pound. Tara says no deal. Helen can't hang on anymore and falls. Tara wins. I'm so sick of typing that. Tara wins, Tara wins, Tara wins. Why do they even have challenges? Just give the prize to Tara!
Back at the ranch, Bob gathers his crew to watch the videotapes they made of what they eat in a day. They make egg white burritos for breakfast. Bob wants them to eat more calories. They make pizza for lunch. Bob wants them to eat protein. They aren't pleasing Bobbaroosky with their choices. Ron and Filipe have fruit and almonds for a snack. Bob wants them to eat more. He says they aren't fueling their bodies. For dinner, they make orange roughy. They split 7 and ½ ounces between 3 of them. Bob is super mad that they barely ate anything during the day. He wants them to eat more protein and nutrient dense foods because they are exercising so much.
In the gym, it's last chance workout time. Once again, everyone complains how hard and intense the workout is. Duh, it's the last chance workout. It shouldn't be anything new guys. This show has been on for a million weeks, you should know the drill! Kristin can't believe Bob has them all over the gym and immediately running. Filipe feels focused and motivated. Tara calls Jillian “crazy”. Really? You just figured that out? Apparently instead of 30 second sprints, Jillian has them running 2 minute sprints. Helen stops 5 seconds before her time is up on the treadmill and Jillian screams at her. Wow, everyone is particularly sweaty this week I will say. I bet that gym smells nice. The last chance workout is getting some extensive coverage this week. They must be hard up for material to fill these 2 hour shows.
Mike is running on the treadmill and gets really pissed and punches the treadmill. Jillian thinks Mike is always going to have the “fat kid” inside of him. Jillian boxes with him and urges him to get angry. Mikey admits to Jillian that he never wanted to be big like his dad, but he never blamed his dad. He says his family did go out to eat a lot, but it was his choice to eat the bad foods. Jillian wants Mike to talk to Ron. Back at the ranch, Mike finds his dad and questions why Ron was so big but didn't change for Mike and Max. Ron the Donreleases his henchmentells him it's okay to be mad. Ron explains that weight is a battle and that he couldn't drill good habits into Mike while Ron didn't have good habits himself. He says they need to now go and be good examples for Max. They kiss and hug. Those guys are just big piles of lovable goo, aren't they?
It's time for the weigh-in and everyone is nervous. Tara chooses to take the $10,000. What? Seriously? I cannot believe that super competitive Tara didn't take the 1lb advantage. I don't think I've ever seen this happen. I kind of hope she goes home now *snicker*. Ali gives her another chance to change her mind, but she sticks with her decision. Let's see if it bites her in the butt!
Tara: Last week 182/This week 177 (-5) -2.75%
Ron: Last week 302/This week 298 (-4) -1.32%
Ron falls below 300lbs for the first time since he was a teenager. Go Ron.
Helen: Last week 162/This week 161 (-1) -.62%
Mike: Last week 243/This week 235 (-8) -3.29%
Filipe: Last week 247/This week 244 (-3) -1.21%
Kristin: Last week 243/This week 244 (+1) +.41%
Ouch.
Kristin and Helen have both fallen below the yellow line. Tears abound in the gym. Ali even gets a little teary eyed. I even get a little teary eyed. *sniffle*
Helen says she isn't ready to go and that she hasn't ever taken a day at the ranch for granted. Kristin doesn't know where to begin. She can't believe she is below the yellow line again. Kristin takes Ron aside to make sure that he isn't going to vote her out. He has told her before he would never write her name down, and she wants to know if that is still true. If the vote is a tie, Kristin will be eliminated due to the lower % of weight loss. Ron says that he will never write Kristin's name down. He wants to do whatever it takes to get Kristin and Mike to the end. He knows Filipe won't vote out Kristin, but he has to talk to Mike because he isn't sure what Mike will want to do. Mike is kind of the wild card vote this week because Tara will most likely vote to keep Helen.
Ron talks to Mike and instead of convincing him to keep Kristin, he seems to be pulling a fast one here and asking Mike to vote off Kristin. Say what? If Mike votes for Kristin and Tara votes for Kristin, that will force the tie sending Kristin home. Ron reminds Mike that Kristin is his biggest threat. Okay Ron this isn't cool. Ron tells Mikey to make sure Tara is on the same page. Ron says he is okay with everything. Man. Ron has really disappointed me. What a two-faced backstabbing liar.
It's time to see the votes. Of course, Mike is sitting last at the table. We have to have the suspense!
Tara votes for Kristin
Filipe votes for Helen
Ron votes for Helen
Mike votes for Kristin
Awwwwwww Mike!! How could you? I know everyone is playing for his/herself, but come on. He took out the biggest threat, which I can't blame him for. But really, Mike is getting a bit cocky now. Ron lies and says he didn't know that was coming. Kristin says that Mike already thinks he has the competition won in his head. Ron says he is sure his son is going to win. *insert Tara's icy glare here* I'm kind of sad Kristin got the boot. I liked Kristin. She is excited to restart her life as a brand new person. She has a great outlook. Go get 'em, girl!
A day after leaving the ranch, Kristin is reunited with her family. Her mom, Cathy, looks great too! Her family is so proud of her and she hopes to be an inspiration to them.
Two months after coming home, Kristin is going to be giving a speech to over 200 people about her time on the show. They all chant her name and give her a standing ovation. Her hair is lighter. I really like it. She looks good.
Since starting the show, Kristin has lost a total of 132lbs. She hopes to be under 200lbs for the finale.
Next week, it's the last week on campus. The heaviest cast in history will spend their final days on the ranch. I smell a show full of “memory lane montages”. Goody goody gumdrop. In 2 weeks, it's the live finale. Finally!! That's the best news I've gotten in a long time!! Until next week...
