They are still casting the show, it won't premiere until at least July 10th. Promos will probably start in mid-late June.

I saw at least two Big Brother commercials last night during Criminal Minds.

I came across a brand new forum for BB Facebook fans yesterday. They have a countdown clock on their site that puts the premiere on July 9th. I don't know if they're just guessing or if they have some inside info.

The commercials just have past contestants flashing by--so fast I didn't catch anyone but Danielle and her dad.
The reason I'd never go on it is I can't imagine going that long without anything to read but a Bible. I'd go nuts. No TV, no books, no music, usually no cards....aaaaaaaaaagh! No wonder they are so screwy. Not that I see most of the past contestants as people who would voluntarily pick up a book, but you know what I mean.

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The 11th season of "Big Brother" will premiere Thursday, July 9 at 8:00/7:00c on CBS, network sources confirmed to the site this afternoon.

The series will then continue on Sundays at 8:00/7:00c and Tuesdays at 9:00/8:00c, a slight deviation from last summer's initial schedule of Sundays at 8:00/7:00c, Tuesdays at 9:00/8:00c and Wednesdays at 8:00/7:00c. (Two weeks later, the latter edition moved to Thursdays at 8:00/7:00c in place of "Greatest American Dog.")
