THE MOLE!!!! My favorite. That reminds me that I used to like Anderson Cooper.

I'm not so hot for these "celebrities" on reality shows. For most of them, the word 'celebrity' is a stretch.

Sorry, no Anderson on it. He's working full time with CNN.

'THE MOLE' TUNNELS BACK ONTO TV

'THE MOLE' TUNNELS BACK ONTO TV
By DON KAPLAN

Hosting "Mole" is a gig Anderson Cooper wants to forget.

January 9, 2008 -- 'THE Mole," ABC's rocky reality competition that once featured CNN anchorman Anderson Cooper as the host, is back.

ABC has ordered 10 episodes of the show, with shooting scheduled to start this spring with a summer debut.

The show, which originally ran from 2001 to 2004 - ultimately featuring sportscaster Ahmad Rashad when Cooper became a CNN mainstay in 2003 - followed a group of contestants in a whirlwind trip across the U.S. and Europe and emphasized mind games and sabotage. As contestants completed white-knuckle tasks, one of them was secretly trying to ruin their game.

The goal was to figure out who on their team was the "mole."

Cooper hosted two editions of the show, but the second, which debuted in Sept. 2001, was yanked for low ratings after just three episodes. It returned the following May.

Two additional seasons featured B-level celebrities - Stephen Baldwin, Kathy Griffin and others - as contestants and Rashad as the host.

Can we sign up for the live feeds now? Are they still giving a $10 discount for signing up early?

Re: Possible Winter edition

They seem to be taking their time rolling out any info about the premiere. The CBS site still isn't updated, there's been no press release about the cast...are they just trying to save money this time?
