I've said that all along. AP and editing ruined the show this season. Yep, Eric said Dick would've gone instead of Dustin. Sure, no one needed to listen to Eric, but they did. If Eric had voted the way he wanted to, Dick and probably Daniele wouldn't even be there now.

And, if we are going to play "what if", perhaps if the DR had not worked diligently to save their poor AP who had royally screwed himself, Eric wouldn't have been there at all to even have a say in things.

Every season BB has twists. And, every twist provides some advantages and some disadvantages to the players. It is part of BB, and it just so happens to favor a player that people are on opposite ends of the spectrum in regards to liking/hating (there is no middle ground).

Who is to say that Eric wouldn't have agreed to deal with D/D without the AP? Eric can say so in hindsight, but at the time, I wouldn't have been surprised for him to take a deal with D/D regardless. E/J were aligned with two people who couldn't win a comp to save their lives and one who was on a crazy power trip.

Who knows how the game would have played out without AP, but, the fact is, it is part of the game. Without the AP, there would not have been the "suspicious votes" that appeared to be a setup for Dani, and Dani would have never targeted Eric, which was a major turning point in the game.

I think over time when you know and see more, opinions can change sometimes. I think Zach was annoying but his desire to fit in and his total lack of social skills or abstract thinking broke my heart so now I am rooting for him. He is not the sharpest knife, but sometimes in some situations a dull little butter knife is just fine compared to a cleaver. (wait. not a slam on the donato's, just an observation that dani and dick are sharper and maybe less appealing right now for me, not in general)

Or perhaps, the D/D haters are left in much the same situation Jameka and Zach were. They don't really care for each other, but b/c they have the same end goal in mind (to win POV at the time) they had to team up.


I am not saying this is the case for you, but I think it explains the surge in 'Zach fans'.

I don't really find myself rooting "against" anyone, but I can see your point, sort of the "foxhole" mentality. A while back, there was a point where Zach interrupted Eric and Jess and they were not nice, so I tuned out and then I came in on a part where Zach is talking about being the outsider and never really fitting in. I still remember that and how many times it has come up since then and I guess I felt for him when Dick was all over him this past week and when he was talking about how he ate and hung out alone for a month, awww. Who knows how I would think had he won POV or wins this HOH and is a jerk about it. I am sort of an underdog fan in life in general, so...

ps-I am so NOT a D/D hater, they are playing the crap out of this game, physically and mentally, bullying or otherwise. The losers (not the D's, the ones who are losing the game) only have themselves to blame for not making good choices. I admit to rooting for Zach now and how that has not always been the case but that is not being against the D/D powerhouse. Good Lord, am I making ANY sense? This game has me all messed up.

Oh, I agree that's probably the case for many. I suspect that my ever-growing dislike of Danielle is coloring my view of her veto use, but not too much. Oh well.

I also think that with previous seasons, my interest is waning toward this season's end. The way CBS rushes to finish the season, the fact that I'm not keen on the remaining players...it's probably all affecting how I feel about Danielle's veto use.

Yes, you are. And, I think it has us all going !

I am OK with this F3. I guess the only reason I am really rooting "against" Zach is because I am pulling for D/D.

Wow, such a fun show! Dick wins Good Sport of the Year Award. But, I would have been shocked if he had acted any different. Even though it was actually Dani who got them where they are, Dick acts like he had anything to do with it. It's just funny at this point.And he thinks if it were himself and Zach in the final 2, Zach would get no votes?!? That was just plain dumb to say that. Zach would probably get all the votes. It wouldn't be so bad, except we all heard Dani tell him they needed to get Zach out.So they were going after him and then to act all offended when he did it to them. They are both so pathetic. If they are standing next to each other in the final 2, and that is pretty likely right now, I will concede that to all you D & D supporters, but if it ends up being that way, probably every person on the jury would say they wish they could pick neither one of them. Except maybe Jameka who showed more class in one night than Dick has all season. And still people are making fun of her religion and faith. It's sad, really. But not unexpected.

Should be an interesting finale. I can't wait to hear the jury responses.

And lastly, if people are going to pick at Dustin for his gray T-shirt, let me make the same observation about Dick's "Suicidal Tendancies" shirt. Dick he not bring any other shirts? And was that an "Evel Dick" t-shirt on underneath it? I think it was! How fun! And after he made cracks about Jen's shirts. Hypocrite!
