Marvin has one more thing going for him. If a sister gets vetoed, and Diane or Drew are put up, he will have the swing vote on who goes. He will be able to sell his vote to the highest bidder. (Promise not to nominate me the next time you are HOH,and you have that vote.) Problem is this. Who do you trust? He can save the twins, (like Scott did) and then the twins will turn around and say, "I don't owe you anything". He can save Drew or Diane, but they have proven to be liars. The only one left is Cowboy, who wants to dump Drew, but he can trust him. If it is a twin/Drew. He can sell his vote to the twins and Cowboy to get rid of Drew. He knows Cowboy will keep his word, and he will have to take his chances with the sisters, who have already screwed him once--but did not vote to evict in the end---it's worth considering.

I was just flipping through the TV channels and who did I see??? Marvin - he was a contestant on the Weakest Link on PAX. He formed an alliance with all the guys to voted all the women off! Also it has to be pretty recent because one of the questions was who directed Minority Report. They are reffering to him as Marvin the Mortician - he's gotten in some good answers and some good comments on the votes. He was also the strongest link in some rounds, but he got voted out in when there were 3 people left because he would have been the toughest competition for the money.

Marvin On Weakest Link Tonite I dont post often or follow all these internet boards so I dont know if this already has been posted but I thought it would be of interest to those of you who do follow these things. I was just flipping channels and saw MARVIN as a contestant on the syndicated version of THE WEAKEST LINK. I dont know if the same episode airs the same day in all cities - as I think these are older shows - but here it aired on PAX (in atlanta). He didnt win though; he came in 3rd. Just goes to show you once again that most of the people on these reality shows are professional media whores (and I mean that in the best way) - or are struggling TV actors or hopeful TV personalities who hope this will give th em their big break (a few weeks ago I saw model JASE on some other late night weekend show)....Just look at Bill who won the Apprentice - Mr. Serious Business just happened to have applied for ABC'S The Bachelor but didn't make the cut? So what to do? Well if you're too old for American Idol and too wimpy for Survivor, you find another show to go on. BINGO It's starting to be like 6 degrees of separation...How many 'degrees' do you need to go before finding someone you know or who is a friend of a friend who has been on an unscripted program. Im giving up calling them reality because if you saw everything that went on behind the scenes and how producers intervene, you'd know there's not much reality here - And contestants these days know that its a TV show and will act accordingly - as Jase did - hoping th ey will be the outrageous one or the fan favorite - so t hat they can at least capitalize on the attention if they dont win the cash prize.

And you know what really kills me? No serious actor would ever think "gee! I know what to do! I'll get noticed on reality tv and then I'll be a big star!". Only a sad, pathetic, desperate actor-wanna-be would think this. These people don't want to act, they want to be TV Personalities. They want to walk on the red carpet without haveing to do any of the hard work to get there! They want to host talk shows, or game shows, or, variety shows, or...reality shows! With little talent, they otherwise wouldn't have a leg to stand on! I'm not quite ready to put Marv in this catagory (I mean, it was just a game show). I sincerely hope in my heart of hearts that he's just a plain ol' mortician and that he got all giddy about the Y&R spot because he's just a plain ol' mortician, but who knows.

Marvin strikes me as too level headed to think he's got some glamorous new life awaiting him after BB, unlike what I read about poor Cowpoke. I don't fault someone who hopes that the BB experience will get them attention in a crowded field they might not otherwise get, but I agree with the above sentiments. If you want to be an actor, act. Regardless of what level or where you happen to be. The people that want to be Chia type actors, add water for instant success, have little to do with real acting, IMO, though out of that crowd a few talented people actually appear.

Right, the way for serious actors to get into the business is to first become a teenage pop star, model, wrestler or rapper and only after paying those dues as thespians, can you jump right into a career in multi-million dollar movies.
