| She must be better to be facing the kind of extreme conditions she will find in the house. (especially the PBJ) They give them their meds each morning, so that is a plus. She is an educated, beautiful, young woman. I am already rooting for her, but I am a mom! ![]() |

| I Hope She Stays Well!! Quote:
Does anyone remember Irene from The Real World, who suffered from chronic Lyme Disease and eventually had to leave the house in Seattle 'cause the stress of being in that situation exacerbated her illness too much? I have chronic illness too (since '94), so I know that external stress can really mess up the health of someone living with it. Given Lori's precarious health, I'm actually quite surprised that she was selected to be a contestant on this show. I'm rooting for Lori, big-time, and I really hope that the terrible stress of living in that tiny little house with all the backstabbing, etc., doesn't take a toll on her health. STAY WELL, LORI!!! | |

| Wickedgood, I also thought immediately of Irene! She had a positive outlook at the beginning of her experience, too, but being in a house filled with stress quickly turned her into a mess. If it is the same Lori, I'm afraid the same thing will probably happen to her, unless she has a medication that has definitely and consistently helped her since the last story (in 1992, right?). Maybe I'm cynical, but she seemed so determined to be positive in her bio that I wonder if she is trying to convince herself? Anyway, if she tells the others about her illness and starts to show any signs of stress/illness, they could turn on her and convince themselves that voting her out of the house is for her own good. |
